Sprawling over an area of 7 kilometers, this charming lake of Siliserh is fixed in Rajasthan and owes its establishment to Maharaja Vinay Khan in the year 1845. Formerly built to supply water to the city of Alwar, this lake houses a striking Lake palace which was said to have been made for the Maharaja’s beloved.

Never thought Alwar could be so beautiful. What I loved about this place was it's peace and serenity. You could sit beside the lake for hours.

staff was friendly and helpfull but when i checked in I warned them I would only be stying one night instead of two,my reservation said I was only liable for one night in case I did not show.
