Built with Douglas fir from CA Sierra Nevadas. Enjoy easy access to sparkling clear, clean and deep waters of the Broads of Lake Winnipesaukee. Individualized 5 bedroom and 5 bath. A fun and large bunk room for up to 8 guests to hang out. High quality, fully functional kitchen designed primarily for professional chefs or people who like to cook for large family gatherings. Inspiring classic and customized lake life construction by artisans. Select 'Old house' doors, floors and custom furniture throughout. Hem Fir timber framed boat house with 28’ twin boat slips plus a 63’ long dock. Expansive lawn, shade trees, 4 acres, sand beach, privacy, BBQ, charming attached hexagonal gazebo, umbrella covered 9' picnic table, hammock, private stream fed cove, private swimming cove with sand bottom 80 x 40 x 5, boating, water sports, horse shoes, Peloton, Life Fitness treadmill, Stairmaster, free weights and bench, ping pong, pool table, air hockey, walking hiking, shopping and fun. Plenty of outdoor seating, lounging, an outdoor fireplace. Evening dinner table out on the Point in middle of huge lake, beneath the stars, a fire for marshmallows or just story telling. All a sense of place and tranquility among nature. Near constant breeze so very few mosquitos, if any.
Please note: During High Season from June 15 through August, we do require 7 day minimum stays. Absolutely, no bachelor or similar parties.

Great Family Vacation!

We spent a week at this beautiful property and had a wonderful time. The host was easy to communicate with and responsive when needed. The house was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, perfect for our group of 10 adults and 6 children. We really enjoyed swimming, fishing, boating, and making use of the boathouse with a rental pontoon.Each day we shared big home-cooked meals and spent quality time together as a family, enjoying the various sitting areas, game room, and fire pit. We’ve rented several large homes throughout the Lake Winnipesaukee region, and this was truly one of my favorite family vacations yet.

Wedding Week

The location and the property itself is stunning. Check-in was easy and property manager and owner were very responsive. PM met us as soon as we arrived. The online pictures are accurate but the pictures themselves don’t do the property any justice-it’s stunning to watch the sunset right in front of you from either the boathouse patio or the upper patio near the kitchen. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the property as much as we would’ve liked because of wedding activities for my son. A few guests were able to go swimming in the morning a couple of the days (our stay was Wed-Mon) and the entire family was able to enjoy our last day down by the dock. Ideally, A few more days would have been preferred , but we just couldn’t work it into the schedule. This is likely more of a Vrbo problem, but be aware that you need to pay extra for any guests over 8. When reservations were made I wasn’t exactly sure how many beds we needed (wedding invitations hadn’t gone out) but I erroneously assumed we paid for up to 16 people. The actual terms dictate that each person over 8 is charged additionally for the entire length of stay -we had 2 additional people that only stayed 2 nights but we were responsible for 5 nights @ $100/night. It was on me as I didn’t read through the actual lease but VRBO should be more specific in this regard on the listing. We would love to actually vacation here again and this is by far one of best VRBO’s we have stayed in.

Family week at Lake Winni

We had a very relaxing stay. Kids loved the water front with paddle boarding and swimming but especially the fishing. They caught several large mouth bass which was excising for them. Boat house was great for getting on and off the water with our rental boat. Melvin Marina was great. We are looking forward to next year!

Wonderful trip!

Beautiful house, beautiful location, amazing views! The lake view was stunning and the house was spacious yet cozy. We had everything we needed! The adults loved the comfortable family room with a view and the kids loved exploring and playing in the game room and bunk room. Felt like a home away from home.

Beyond our expectations!

We, and two other couples, stayed at Amansaukee this past weekend and we were all equally impressed and delighted with the location, the accommodations, and the owner's responses to our questions! The home was supplied with all the necessities for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The views of the lake induced relaxation and reverie. The home was immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked with a full complement of cookware, appliances, utensils, etc. Also, the home's location just minutes to the town of Wolfeboro was an additional plus. Despite some rainy weather we had plenty to occupy us with nearby shopping, gallery browsing and museum touring. We all agreed we could return to this home for another weekend outing without hesitation!

Summer escape

Our stay was was nothing short of amazing. The grounds and home are impeccable. The details in this home are truly special and you can clearly see the time and care that has gone into this haven. We had a large group of parents and children and everyone was at peace and had a lovely time. We were able to have our boat with us and travel the lake so very easily. We certainly would love to come back next year!

Great Stay

Amansaukee - What a wonderful upscale home with a lodge atmosphere. Ample stock of cooking supplies and amenities for food and groceries. Has several smaller spaces for gathering, and large dining tables both inside and outside for family dinners. The rooms were all comfortable and bathrooms were stocked with everything needed for a week’s stay, or longer. Lots of beach towels for use with oversized washer and dryer for use as well. Close proximity to a Hannafords grocery store, the town of Wolfboro by car, and also a boat refueling station just around the cove. Well cared for property with manicured outdoor spaces, an expansive waterfront views and spectacular sunsets. Fire pit and wood to burn was a great place to relax into the evening as well. Overall, this was a perfect place for our family of 10 to spend a summer week!

Wonderful family retreat with friends

The home was most accommodating to a group that ranged from adults to infant. We all had our own bed/bath space while sharing the open design for cooking, dining, conversations, relaxing. We loved being near the lake, the screened porch, the comfy living area. We took advantage of sailing classes and boat cruises from nearby towns. Grocery shopping was conveniently close. The week went by much too quickly!

Quite Simply, Phenomenal

Everything about this property is top-notch. Both Eric and the rental agent made themselves available and were attentive before and during our stay. There isn’t anything else either could have done to make us feel more welcome. The home itself is stunning, from its decor and build quality to its ample space and options. Our group of thirteen never felt cramped even on rainy days, the kids fell in love with the game room, and us adults were able to play our share of pool. Lots of cozy nooks to sit in as well as airy places for all of us to gather together. The outdoor areas are fantastic with plenty of shaded seating and awe-inspiring views. Easy and safe access to the water for everyone of all ages and abilities. We brought three jet skis, a 22’ boat, and multiple kayaks yet still had plenty of open dock space, and all protected behind the breakwater. The boathouse is spacious, solidly built, and is a great place to sit during rainstorms. Amansaukee is phenomenal in the truest sense and we could not be happier about our stay. We hope to have the opportunity come back time and again.

Amazing place for all ages!

We have been vacationing in the Alton/Wolfeboro area for over 40 years and this trip was one of our best. The house has everything you could need, and the views and backyard were fantastic! Even on rainy days the game room ensured that we had fun. There was lots of space for everyone. We rented a boat for the week and the boat house and dock were great to use. The property manager and host were attentive and helpful. Definitely have 5 star vacation!

Wonderful vacation

Our family time at Amansaukee was fabulous. The beautiful house met all of our needs. There were many comfortable spaces for everyone to enjoy their time indoors and outdoors. It was perfect for a family of 10 to have a wonderful vacation.
