Newly renovated suite in historic 1800s Alto Pass Milling Co building. Private, spacious and very clean. Upstairs from new bourbon bar on Main St in Alto Pass. Part of Havisham House Property. Close to Bald Knob Cross of Peace and in the heart of the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail & Shawnee National Forest. Hiking trails all around us. Bourbon bar hours: Thu/Fri 3-10 p.m.; Sat 12-10 p.m.; Sun 11-5 p.m. Three bedrooms, each with queen bed, two full bathrooms, spacious living room & kitchen. Smart TVs in living room and one bedroom. Exit door to balcony seating off living room. Suite 18 is across the hall and sleeps two (VRBO 2698184)

The place was exactly as it looks in the pictures. It was immaculately clean. We enjoyed the complementary coffee and the convenience of having the Havisham bourbon bar and restaurant just steps away. The hosts were so kind and helpful. They provided great suggestions for family friendly indoor activities due to the cold temperatures.

Wine Trail Getaway

The location was perfect to hit all 12 wineries on the wine trail event. We sat out on the balcony in the morning and enjoyed our coffee and breakfast. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Plenty of room to stretch out. The bourbon bar below us was perfect to unwind in at the end of the day. Communication with the owners was amazing. They made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

Great stay! Staff was very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating! Plenty of space for our family of 5. Enjoyed the bourbon bar and the closeness to Alto Vineyards. Prefect location for a wine trail weekend!

Southern Illinois Wine Trail weekend

Very nice location in Alto Pass. Close to many of the wineries. A visit to the owners' Bourbon Bar downstairs on the property is a must! Highly recommend this location. Owners Jerri and Nick are the best!
