  • Converted stable and hay loft providing cosy accommodation for four just five minutes’ walk from Alnwick with its historic castle and gardens.. Ground Floor:

    Open plan living space.

    Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

    Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.. Enclosed gravelled garden area. Parking. No smoking.. Set in a cul-de-sac location just outside the centre of Alnwick, this very attractive cottage has been converted from a stone stable and hay loft. Providing a good standard of holiday accommodation, it features a pine staircase and open beams, and has been carefully designed to be cosy and comfortable all-year-round. Benefiting from a high degree of privacy it faces onto its own enclosed gravelled yard away from the road. An excellent central base, beaches are close at hand (15-minute drive), with easy access for touring. The local theatre and cinema are a 5 minute walk away, with the leisure centre and The Alnwick Garden just a 10 minute walk. Shops and pubs 5 minutes walk.

Comfortable cottage & excellent location

My friend and I found the cottage very comfortable and well equipped. Quiet location but an easy walk to the centre of Alnwick, the castle and gardens. Lovely fresh bread at the Lidl, a minute's walk away! Only about 10-15 mins from the beautiful Northumbian coastal path and beaches. Would certainly stay here again.

Wonderful, everything wonderful

I didn't have a pen so I couldn't write in the visitors book but oh my, what a lovely cottage. Just as described & as it appears on website. Ideal location a 5 minute walk into town centre, Lidl opposite, but not visable from cottage, for anything you might need. Perfect, will hopefully be back.

An absolute gem.

An absolute gem. Handy for everything Alnwick and the surrounding areas. Try the chip shop in Seahouses-Lewis’s an incredible fish finger butty and chips 👍🏻👍🏻Bamburgh castle stunning and the beach. And this cottage a super place to base yourself. Comfy sofas and beds and excellent shower 👏No problem parking right outside the gate on the by road which no one really uses.We will definitely be back when our schedule allows. ❤️

We had a great time in Alnwick.

We had a great time in Alnwick. The cottage was central for getting out and about in Alnwick and Northumberland. Everywhere we wanted to visit was an easy drive away. It was great to come back in the evening to the cosy cottage which was warm and well equipped.

A lovely cosy cottage in a fabulous position for alnwick just a short stroll away. Loved having a lidl so near for provisions. Its only a small cottage so a family of four may feel cramped but we went as a couple with our teenage daughter and it was ok. Parking is easy right outside and the coast and attractions are literally a 15 minute drive at the most. The lovely couple that own it made us feel right at home without being intrusive. Although pets are allowed here and we dont have one it was very clean indeed. Never been to northumberland and we loved this beautiful area. Need to come back as a week wasnt enough to do everything!! Would thoroughly recommend

We absolutely loved this cosy little cottage and had a wonderful holiday. The owners went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed for a super stay. Its also in an excellent location for exploring stunning Northumberland and surrounding counties. Would definitely stay there again.
