Our beautiful home overlooks the Amoreira River and wetlands in a stunning stretch of the Costa Vicentina Natural Park. It is a three-bedroom, four-bathroom (three en-suite) spacious villa, located in the quiet, residential neighbourhood of Espartal that is within walking distance of both Monte Clerigo and Amoreira beaches. The modern open-plan architecture seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces and panoramic picture windows perfectly frame the surrounding natural elements. Multiple terraces, a swimming pool, a sauna, a gas BBQ and ample outdoor gardens are all perfectly suited to Aljezur’s favourable year-round microclimate. The surrounding area of Aljezur is renowned for its world-class surf scene and stunning cliff-top coastal hikes (Rota Vicentina).

INTERIOR
Our home can comfortably sleep 6 people and there are air-conditioning units the bedrooms. The home comes fully furnished with high-quality Portuguese bed linens and towels, one flat-screen TVs with satellite channels, a large dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen including Samsung appliances (fridge, oven, dishwasher), Nespresso coffee machine, electric kettle, juicer, immersion blender, toaster, microwave, iron and washing machine. For digital nomads, there is WiFi throughout the house (both on the top and bottom levels). The house is decorated with original works by a local artist.

OUTDOORS
Glass sliding doors lead from the dining to the patio with views of the pool and the beautiful Amoreira River. The outdoor areas have had recent structural upgrades that prioritize the privacy of our guests. For surfers and sports aficionados, there is an outdoor shower, surfboard rack, and wetsuit drying space. Private covered parking is available with access to an electrical outlet, as well as unlimited street-side parking.

All proceeds after costs from your booking will be donated to Luena Foundation, an independent, non-political, 501c3 non-profit that focuses on defending and ensuring the rights of the child worldwide, with a focus on the Global South. We partner with innovative, off-the-radar, community-based organizations whose grassroots efforts aim at stamping out the underlying causes of child poverty at its roots. To do this, we are pursuing a model of "local humanitarianism", which aligns with our belief that the people most affected by poverty and social injustice are the ones who should have both the power and resources to lead the decision-making processes that impact their communities. We seek out, listen to, and fund local leaders, many of whom are youth themselves, who possess the indigenous knowledge and local capacity to elicit sustainable development from the inside out. ## Neighborhood

Our home is located in Espartal, Aljezur, offering you a quiet, private space in the middle of the Costa Vicentina nature reserve. This area is very popular amongst families, nature lovers and surfers alike. A selection of restaurants & bars and a small supermarket are there for your day-to-day comforts.

Amoreira access is possible at low tide; you can cross the river back to Espartal (although you will get a little wet).

Aljezur is located on the west coast of the Algarve in the heart of the natural park Costa Vicentina. An impressive beauty retains unforgettable landscapes between the mountain range and the sea. The coastline is formed uniquely by nature.

The sound of the waves creates a natural symphony, which serves as background music for long hikes or just a short walk on the seashore. Large sandy beaches and coves, divided by magnificent, rugged cliffs, with the consistent waves of the Atlantic Ocean, offer unique surfing conditions throughout the year.

Aljezur is enchanted with its charm and harmony of culture and nature. The region has countless culinary delights of high quality to offer. The sea provides fish and seafood, and the ground carries sweet potatoes and peanuts as delicacies count Medronho, a traditional fruit brandy, honey and other sweets. These are treats for culinary art and one of the many reasons to visit the region of Aljezur.

## Transit

We are only a 30-minute drive from Lagos and Sagres, one hour and 15 minutes from Faro airport and 2 hours 45 minutes from Lisbon. If you want to explore the area, a car is recommended. Free parking in front of the house and access to the garage if charging an electric vehicle is necessary.
