"I was put right at the top. It might have been nice to be in a lower room as I had a lot of bags. No one answered the telephone. The room was a bit tired and worn, not worthy of the price paid. It felt more like an elderly bnb than a boutique hotel. "

The only slight annoyance was that we couldn’t get the air conditioning to work, so had to sleep with the window open, which meant that the gulls woke us up quite early in the morning. We were celebrating our birthdays and the hotel gave us a lovely plate of cakes to honor this! We skipped paying for breakfast because there are so many wonderful bakeries in Bath and the breakfast was on the pricey side. I still wouldn’t hesitate staying here again! "

The hotel wouldn’t refund or even make a gesture so do not book non refundable. I was allocated room 8 and it was like the worst B&B from the 80’s. "Basic and easy for last minute stay as our train back to London was too late. Very basic but clean. Warning that windows don’t open. We paid “extra for window” that doesn’t even open. "

"Friendly staff, great location if travelling with luggage as hotel is directly across from train station and easy walk to Bath ruins and amazing Therma Spa. Amenities and dining all around. Accommodations were great! Great space comfortable beds, pillows and linens. Neat and clean. Great character in building. Amazing breakfast included as well. "
