Bolton Cove is a relaxing, family-owned and operated vacation home community located in beautiful Lake Martin's Parker Creek area. Lake Martin was created in 1926 by damming the Tallapoosa River was, with over 750 miles of shoreline, the largest man-made lake in the world. Bolton Cove itself is a gated community of only a few homes offering many amenities such as a community swimming pool, pool house, private beach, large community boat dock, and playground.

As with all homes in Bolton Cove, 12 Cricket Lane is located directly on the water. This 3-story home has 4 bedrooms which includes a bonus room, 3.5 bathrooms and offers wonderful views of the lake from the living room, master bedroom, and 2 lakeside porches. The upstairs porch also features a gas grill. The kitchen is fully equipped with high end appliances such as a refrigerator, cooktop, stove, Keurig coffee maker, and a wine cooler. We also provide plates, glasses, utensils, bowls, pots, and pans for your next gathering.

The living room and master bedroom both have gas fireplaces if you need to warm up.

With the 4 bedrooms, the master has a king bed with a private bathroom, the guest bedroom has a queen bed sharing a bathroom with the kids’ bedroom having a bunk bed and a twin bed. Additionally, the bonus room has 2 futon beds and a bunk bed. All beds have sheets and blankets, and we also provide soap, shampoo, and towels in all bathrooms.

There is private Wi-Fi throughout the home and the televisions in the living room and bedrooms are all SmartTVs with Spectrum cable so you can enjoy your favorite shows.

Bolton Cove is conveniently located only minutes by car or boat to popular places like Willow Point, Catherine’s Market, SpringHouse restaurant, Children’s Harbor, and the Landing restaurant.

OPTIONAL PONTOON BOAT: Enjoy the lake with our optional 22-foot pontoon boat. With a 115-horsepower engine, you can pull the kids on a tube or just cruise the lake with your friends and family. If you are interested in renting the pontoon boat for an additional $300 per day plus gas, which is available May 1 - October 1. Please ask in advance so we can confirm availability.

July Lake Trip

This was our second stay and we would book again. The house comfortably fit our group and the pool and playground were great bonuses. The property manager, Courtland, is very responsive and a great help with any questions.

Great place.

We take a large family here every year for vacation. We rent all 4 houses and really enjoy the cleanliness, peacefulness, and privacy of this gated community. The pool is fantastic. They are very responsive to any request we have had. Thankful and blessed.

Bolton Cove is very beautiful, peaceful and quiet. We took kids and grandkids for the week they loved the pool, the beach, fishing and having the boat right there to rent was a big plus. We rode to restaurants and ate and cruised the lake looking at all the beautiful homes. The pictures of our house doesn’t do it justice. It’s was really big with plenty of room for all 11 of us. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing location but needs major overhaul

Courtland was amazing to communicate with. He was prompt with his responses, provided all information needed. We rented all four homes on the property. The outdoor layout was perfect and had great flow. the proximity of the houses to each other and the outdoor amenities provided wonderful gathering spaces and memories to be made. Courtland was prompt in addressing maintenance issues included a broken a/c in the house, broken fridge in the pool house, and a few other things in the other houses. He reimbursed Us for the broken air conditioner, the boat that we rented that killed while driving, and the inaccurate bedroom count posted in the description. These things were frustrating, but due to his responsiveness, we felt these things did not result in a terrible stay. Unfortunately, two very significant issues in houses 10 and 12 were not able to be addressed while we were there. In house 12, mold was visible on multiple surfaces (around light fixtures, air vents, mirrors, ceiling), there was a very obvious smell of must/mold, and bats could be both heard in the walls around the chimney in houses 10 and 12. Near the end of the week, a bat flew out of the unsealed 1-1.5 inch gap between the wall and fireplace and into the den while we were gathered. Cortland was apologetic and verbally indicated that he would address bags and mold. If these issues can be completely and appropriately resolved, then the rentals have potential.

Draft weekend

I stayed here with a few friends for the weekend. We were there for our annual fantasy football draft next door and the location was perfect. Five of us stayed there and everyone had the own bed. I would recommend.

Large family vacation get away!

We really enjoyed our stay! I have 5 siblings and our extended family consists of about 50 all together. We rented all 4 houses within this gated community and had total access to the pool and all of the amenities. This is the 4th year we have gone there for our family vacation and will go back next year, most likely. Easy access to the lake with 4 boat boat slips and places to tie off several jet skis.

Just what I needed!

My siblings and I rented the 4 houses at Bolton Cove for our annual trip together. My house was wonderful -just as pictures described. Enough space that my family of 6 adults could have our own space but still be together in living room/kitchen/deck and pool area. Loved that the outdoor gas grill was on our deck and we did not have to leave to go to grill. We all hated to leave. If anyone has a large family the 4 houses to rent at Bolton Cove is the perfect place to be. Almost forgot - pool area is wonderful. Great location to go and explore the lake. Highly recommend.

The best weekend!

We needed a place for family and friends to stay for Auburn’s graduation. This area exceeded our expectations and we met and got to be friends with the other renters as well. This is a gorgeous property and had everything we needed for our stay. There is so much to do at the property with the beach, pool, the boat and kayaks. Alexander City is close enough to get groceries quickly. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

Great for relaxing or entertaining

Beautiful home with lots of space. We were staying for a wedding that was held in another location along the lake, so we had different family segments in the house and everyone had plenty of space. The view of the lake is inviting and the beach was great for the 3-year-old. We weren't there long enough to take advantage of the well-kept pool and playground. The kitchen was well-stocked. Loved the wine fridges! :) The only issue we had was very slow wi-fi. Fortunately, our short visit was reliant on it except for streaming a movie, which didn't work due to constant buffering.

Relaxing & beautiful

The home was clean and decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. We had 12 family members and there was plenty of sleeping space for all, as well as linens and towels for showers. The view of the cove is very relaxing and the beach and pool are inviting. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Gem so close to home

We all enjoyed our time at Bolton Cove. The was fantastic, plenty of room for all of us. The beach area was great for even the smallest kiddos. We all loved kayaking, fishing, catching turtles by the shore and teaching the kids about them. The pool and playground were great too. We loved that it was so close to home. My oldest granddaughter (8) said we have to make this a family tradition. We certainly will. Will definitely be coming back here!!! Thanks for such a great time!!!!

Peaceful getaway

I would say the property was "as pictured", but the pictures don't do it justice. The space was absolutely perfect for our family needs, clean and well stocked. I had to contact the owner with a few questions and he replied in a timely manner and came to a resolution very quickly!!! I would absolutely book again! I have stayed at other Lake Martin locations and this was my favorite! 10/10 recommend!
