"The staff were very friendly and helpful, the receptionist had booked guests in a million times and was very efficient. The young waitress who served me was originally from Kent and l recognised her accent from coming from where l used to live. My room 101 was a nice location, full view of the Scotch Corner roundabout and could see the snow and when it was clear so l could get on my way to continue my journey to Scotland. "We stayed one night at the Kings Head and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Our room was spacious, furnished to a high standard with a large and modern bathroom. The staff were uniformly friendly and efficient and the bar stocked a good selection of beers and spirits as well as being extremely comfortable. Our evening meal was of a very good standard and very tasty, with a good selection of wines available. All in all a lovely hotel and very good value for money. Highly recommended! "
