Minutes from the Airport, KAFB, UNM, and the historic Nob Hill!

This house is in the perfect spot to stay while visiting Albuquerque for a weekend or a long stay for work or anytime in between. The house is located in the beautiful and historic Ridgecrest Neighborhood just 5 minutes from the Albuquerque International Airport. Also located less than 5 minutes away is the University of New Mexico, Kirtland Air Force Base, Sandia National Labs, the VA Hospital, UNM Hospital and Presbyterian Hospital. Military welcome. Also nearby is the historic Nob Hill district where you can find many of Albuquerque's best restaurants and shops to browse. As hosts we can offer advice on the best local restaurants, shops and fun things to do around town.

The house is 1600 sq ft with large green front and back yards all to yourself. This house has a large master bedroom with raised ceilings, vegas, a ceiling fan and a connected master bath. Two more large bedrooms, another full bath, living room with gas fireplace, dining area and a large kitchen make up the interior. French doors open wide to the shaded backyard patio complete with outdoor table and chairs and a fire pit for those wanting a little evening ambience.. A giant elm tree shades the backyard with peach, apple, fig, lilac and juniper trees ringing the outside. Any fruit in season is yours to take. The backyard is walled in with a high gate so it is perfect for those traveling with a dog. The front porch also opens onto a nice lawn shaded by two large ash trees. Enjoy relaxing by the fire pit after a long day of sightseeing or work.

The Ridgecrest Neighborhood is one of Albuquerque's most well known and beautiful areas with large mature trees, grassed medians, many local parks and a quiet and relaxed neighborhood feel. You will enjoy taking easy walks around this neighborhood and if you are here during Christmas Eve you will enjoy one of Albuquerque's famous luminaria displays on Ridgecrest Avenue.

This will be your home away from home whether traveling to see the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta and it's other sightseeing opportunities or just needing a place to stay for a longer period for work. We want your stay to be relaxing and restful while you enjoy all that Albuquerque has to offer.

We did no cooking........only slept & showered there, as it was close to a relatives house. Only thing that we thought would be nice would be some sort of shelf or something in the EAST large bathroom that has a whole wall with no shelf or counter on the west side of that bathroom. It's quite a nice long space. All the rooms were very clean. Thank you so much.

The host was wonderful! Alan provided clear instructions on how to open up, he allowed us to go in early and everything was ready for us! He responded to us quickly when we had a hiccup. He solved the problems and provided info about the house! He also gave us ideas about things to do. He was available when we needed help but was never intrusive!

Was a cool place!! Adorable adobe house! Giant tree in back - making for great pics!! Wonderful combo of retro versus new!! Beautiful tile in bathroom and kitchen. Only drawback was internet for us at least was a little tricky. Worked in main bedroom though. Make sure you print off info before arriving as I could not access codes or phone numbers. Would be really nice to have a small step stool for short 5’2” people like me! But very clean and lovely! . Great yard for dogs. Extra bonus we had a road runner we saw that ran across front yard twice while we were there!!

Excellent stay

The house was exactly as described. The hosts had a nice welcome booklet for the area, we tried 2 of the restaurants and they were excellent. The kitchen was well stocked with spices as well as pots, pans, and baking dishes for the meals we made at the house. The air conditioners kept the house at a very comfortable temperature. The backyard was very secure for our dog. It is a very nice quiet neighborhood.

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the kitchen had everything we needed and more! The backyard was perfect for our dogs, and we couldn't have asked for better communication with the host! We have already booked our next stay!

Great location and neighborhood

We had a good time revisiting friends and the city and were very happy with the location and situation. Host was super responsive to our requests and dog loved the back yard. Just a very nice stay in a comfortable house. Only needed one bedroom and bath but because we were familiar with the part of city, we chose this house.

Safe, dog friendly house close Rt 66 attractions

Host was very responsive and helpful. House was in a very safe neighborhood and convenient to Rt 66 attractions. A dog friendly home with a fully fenced qnd private backyard. Host had great recommendations for local eats. Beautiful master bedroom and fully stocked kitchen with all the amenities. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a pet friendly stay travel on Rt 66 or visiting Albuquerque.

We really enjoyed our stay in ABQ. This house was very close to the airport. Just minutes away. Loved the chiminea in the backyard. It was fun to have a fire after dinner. The faucet in the shower was very confusing. The house was very dated but,so comfortable.
