We checked in to the property, first room we had the bathroom was flooded. We were then moved to another room, no hot water. Third room- stained bedsheets + layers of dust on the furniture. We’d never experienced such a filthy place. We finally decided that we could not stay at this facility being that I am pregnant + also would not allow our toddler to stay somewhere that we s clearly… not kept up with. Front desk refused a refund even after pics were provided and said “we can’t refund since it was prepaid.” I called Expedia and they stated that they will contact the facility and once the manager approves for a refund the money will be released. Then Expedia could only get through to a front desk agent and not a manager so we went down to speak to them. The lady we spoke to said nobody called to which I showed her that Expedia confirmed talking to them, then she said it must have been her coworker that got the call then. We then told her that they will be calling again + she said that they don’t even have a manager in and wouldn’t until the following morning when we are due to check out. I asked if she could at least call the manager and she said no. Expedia was never able to get in contact with a manager therefore I still paid full rate for the night even though we did not stay and still paid another 200 on top of that just to have a place to sleep. I have emails as late as 10:30am the following day fr Expedia stating they have not been able to get in touch with a mngr.
