A Casa dos Retratos resulta de um sonho antigo dos nossos pais: ter uma casa junto ao mar. Hoje partilhamos o local onde o sonho se tornou realidade. Fica numa zona calma da cidade, apenas 3 min. da praia e a 5 min. do centro histórico.

Casa dos Retratos (House of Portraits) is the result of an old dream of our parents: to have a house by the sea. Now we share the place where this dream became true. It is located 3 min. away from the beach and 5 min. from the city center, in a quiet area.

It was a wonderful stay. The apartment is very comfortable and very well stocked. The view is beautiful. You have a short walk to a huge number of restaurants and bars. Sofia, the host was wonderful.

Wunderbares Ferienhaus, 2 Etagen, unten sind 2 Schlaftzimmer und 2 Badezimmer, oben ist das grosse Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer, Küche und Balkon wie in den Bildern. Alles moder, sauber, ruhig. Stadt, Restaurants und Strände sind wunderbar fussläufig erreichbar in 5-10min. Albufeira ist sehr touristisch. Doch dadurch, dass man etwas abseits wohnt und sich jederzeit auf den Balkon ans Meer setzen kann ist es ein Traum. Wir haben es sehr genossen dort.

I had the most amazing 8 night stay at this home. The pictures online were beautiful, but they don't do it justice. The views from the bay-front window and balcony were absolutely stunning. The house itself was cozy, incredibly clean, and beautifully decorated. This property was exactly as described - just steps away from the beach and perfectly located for exploring the city. The setup of the house is beautiful and the host Sofia was incredibly helpful and communicative. She made an amazing stay possible even after an error in booking on my end. The space was very clean, quiet, and came with a super comfortable king-size bed. All the basic amenities were provided, including coffee and tea. I really appreciated the easy and helpful check-in and the clear communication from the host.Staying at this property was a truly unique and special experience.

Perfect location

This property is well presented and thought out. Plenty of storage space, well appointed kitchen, all the comforts. And the location was perfect. Easy parking on the street, a short walk to cafes and restaurants, and the beautiful view of the marina and ocean. Loved it.

Très bonne expérience

Un très bon séjour passé chez Sofia. Elle a été accueillante et nous a bien conseillé durant notre voyage. La maison est grande, propre et accueillante. La terrasse dispose d’une magnifique vue sur l’océan. Petit bémol sur le passage devant les fenêtres des chambres, qui ne gâche en rien notre superbe séjour.

Great location in lovely apartment

We booked here for 3 weeks and were delighted with our stay. A delightful 2bed apartment on the edge of the old town and also close to the marina. The older style exterior does not do it justice - once inside it has a very modern and comfortable feel. The icing on the cake is the terrace with an amazing unobstructed sea view. Highly recommend the apartment and the host.

Love this House

This is our second stay at this house. We love everything about the house. It's location, very modern, the balcony and view. The host is also very helpful and came to our rescue with a resource when we had a car issue. We will definitely use this house again.

Was für eine tolle Wohnung

Wir waren im August 2022 7 Tage in dieser bezaubernden Wohnung untergebracht. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll designed und besticht durch einen einzigartigen hochwertigen Charme. Neben der hochwertigen Ausstattung ist der atemberaubende Ausblick vom Balkon zu erwähnen, dessen Ausblick zu jeder Tageszeit zum Verweilen und Seele baumeln lassen einlädt. Strand, Supermärkte und tolle Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar und selbst für unseren Mietwagen haben wir jeden Tag in unmittelbarer Nähe einen Platz gefunden ohne großartig suchen zu müssen. Vielen Dank Sofia, wir kommen wieder!

Perfect Place in Albuferia

My husband and I just finished a 6 day stay at this house and loved it. The house had everything we needed. It was in a great location, close to Old Town but far enough away to not have the noise and congestion. Sofia met us at the house and thoroughly reviewed everything we needed to know. She was available for anything we needed. The best thing about the house was the spectacular view. The house is right on the ocean cliff. We could either sit on the balcony or in the living room and watch the ocean. If we return to Albuferia, we will definitely stay at this house again. Debra

Our second visit, definitely not our last

Once again, we had a wonderful holiday at this fabulous home. Sofia is a pleasure to deal with, the property was spotless and has everything you could ever need, with many modern appliances (good Wi-Fi also). Situated in a quiet part of Albufeira, but only a few minutes walk from the old town or the marina, in the other direction. Several good restaurants very close by, if you do not fancy the stroll. Overall everything from our point of view was simply excellent.

Superb property, owner and location

We spent a very relaxing 2 weeks at this property and enjoyed the whole experience. Sofia met us at check in and showed us around. She is very charming and helpful. The house is as described and really is to a very high standard of cleanliness, is very secure and has everything you could ever need. Everything is top of the range. The location? Exactly as described, handy enough for the Marina and the Old Town but in a quiet area, wonderful views and sunshine all day. Overall, we were really pleased and willl definitely return.

Perfekte Lage durch Nähe zum Hauptstrand und Marina, ausreichende Entfernung zum Zentrum. Dieser Ortsteil von Albufeira hat alles, was man braucht. Die Vermieter waren zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, Sauberkeit und Zustand top, hochwertige Einrichtung und dem Inserat entsprechend. Parkplatz war immer in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden. Absolut zu empfehlen

Excellente localisation pour cette très belle maison de ville entièrement rénové avec goût et avec des matériaux de qualité. Belle terrasse en première ligne surplombant l'océan depuis le séjour et l'une des chambres. Très agréable de s'endormir avec le bruit des vagues qui s'écrase sur les rochers. Bon accueil de Sofia qui nous avait également préparé un guide de leurs restaurants préférés dans la Région de l'Algarve. Nous en avons testé 4. Ils étaient tous excellents. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir un jour dans cette magnifique maison.
