Mari is the ideal choice if you want to experience Menorca in all its
splendor, offering you a number of restaurants and bars, including the
famous 'Cave' bar (Cova d'en Xoroi) which is set in a huge sea cave!

Overview
Villa Mari is located in Cala en Porter, Menorca. This detached
vacation rental property offers air-conditioning, Free Wi-Fi and sleeps
up to 4 people with 3 Bedrooms and 3 Bathrooms. There is a private pool
with barbecue. Walking distance to the Beach and Restaurants.
Layout

The villa is set over one floor. Access from the patio is onto the
comfortably furnished living room with dining area. The separate
kitchen is located next to the lounge. In addition there are 3 air
conditioned bedrooms (1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom and 2
single bedrooms) and one family bathroom. Outside are dining area and
barbecue. A roof terrace provides beautiful views over the surrounding
countryside.

The living room has a dining area, comfortable sofas, Satellite TV and
Free Wi-Fi.

The kitchen features a toaster, coffee maker, granite work top, washing
machine, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/hob and oven. There

SECURITY DEPOSIT
If your party consists of a group where the average age is under 25
years of age, a refundable security deposit of 150 EU, per person, is
required, payable with the accommodation balance or six weeks before
arrival. Upon departure, the villa must be left clean and tidy and upon
inspection, the security deposit will be refunded minus any breakages
or additional cleaning required.

Overall, the villa was adequate, nice and spacious but was spoilt by the fact that the fly screens over the windows failed to keep out the mosquitos and we were being constantly bitten. The exterior of the Villa (garden area), required some maintenance and might even have contributed to the mosquito problem. The shower heads in both showers are becoming clogged and need replacing and the water pressure in the sink within the showere room is very poor to say the least. The area of Cala en Porter itself is a lovely area with plenty of restaurants and bars to chose from and a superb beach is only a 10 minute stroll away. Overall, the villa was ok but would I recommend it, proberly not.

A good stay.

The Villa was everything we expected, the only thing that really let us down was the lack of decent places to eat, I think the current restaurants fall short because of the lack of competition, it seems a bit stuck in the 1990’s however this shouldn’t detract from how lovely the Villa is and the swimming pool is the cherry on the top.

All very good...starter pack could be more generous...occasional barking dog next door at number 4. But all in all enjoyable...resort of cala en Porter beginning to close down mid October, so less choice of bars/restaurants

Lovely pool and outdoor area. Very close to shops, restaurants and beach but still quiet at night. During our 10 day stay the beds were changed and the villa cleaned. The pool was also attended to. Overall a lovely holiday. The only negative point was that the main bedroom bed was very hard and neither me or my husband had a good sleep. Other travellers may also want to know that access to the local beach is Very steep if going on foot, there is car park access if the incline is a problem.

Villa Mari, Cala en Porter

Villa Mari is situated in a very quiet part of Cala en Porta, with supermarkets and restaurants all within a five minute walk. The villa itself is spacious and well furnished with a brilliant sized swimming pool. The only downside is that if the weather is very hot, ants can be an issue. However, I would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Mari.

Super little Villa

Everything that you need in a villa, great clean outdoor space with an excellent pool. Very short walk to supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Rooms clean and tidy and air conditioned. Definitely go again!

Ferienhaus

Wir waren im Mai für 2 Wochen da und hatten uns den Luxus zu zweit gegönnt. Die Fotos sind farblich stark überzeichnet, aber das ganze passt soweit. Das Haus ist sauber und gut gepflegt. Es gibt sogar zusätzliche Ausstattungsmerkmale, die in der Beschreibung gar nicht aufgeführt sind. Es gibt zum Bespiel an den Türen und Fenstern Insektenschutzgitter, in einem Bad ist ein Bidet und am draußen am Pool gibt es nochmals eine Dusche und WC. Bei Ankunft hatten wir ein kleines Küchenpaket vorgefunden. Bestehend aus Putzläppchen und Spüli. Sogar Eiswürfelförmchen waren da. Zweimal die Woche kam ein Reinungstrupp, es wurden alle Handtücher gewechselt und feucht durchgewischt. Da Lage ist sehr gut, der Supermarkt liegt gleich um die Ecke. Restaurants auch alle gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Nur zum Strand würde ich nicht laufen wollen, bis runter an den Strand braucht man gut eine Viertel Stunde. Und rauf muss man ja auch wieder 😉 Der private Pool ist von außen nicht einsehbar und wird einmal wöchentlich gereinigt und gewartet. Schön wäre ein zweiter Mülleimer in der Küche, das würde die Mülltrennung sehr erleichtern. Einziger Mangel war der Fernseher, den SAT-Anschluß können wir nicht bestätigen, es gab ausschließlich spanische Programme. OK, und der nervöse Hund der Residentes aus Haus Nr. 4. In der Summe aber sehr empfehlenswert, wir würden wiederkommen.
