"This review is specifically for the “penthouse” suite with the private bathroom. We were very disappointed to arrive to find the bathroom filthy and clearly used and not cleaned. I’m assuming one of the guests from the downstairs rooms with the shared bathrooms had found it and been using it, but the management really should have checked before we arrived. "An exceptional stay. Although we arrived later in the evening, the staff were wonderful. The hotel room was clean, modern and very comfortable. Don't miss the view from the rooftop, just beautiful, only to be outshined by the lovely grounds around the hotel. There are two museums on the property, the wine museum is amazing and worth a visit, it is right in the hotel near the eating area. "We had a wonderful stay at the hotel is beautiful and brand new. The only problem we had is the restaurant that took very long time to get our food and I mean two hours long. "

"The staff were young & not trained in customer service! I asked for help with my luggage & the young man who kept me waiting Is seen at the bar- free. He could have helped me straight away cos the porterage took 2 minutes, he knew that but kept me waiting regardless. The hot water was only tepid both in the vanity & shower. It was a cool night so I didn’t appreciate a cool shower. The toilet cistern didn’t work & kept running. I reported these things so future users weren’t inconvenienced. But...
