Eagle Sands is on the peaceful north end of Mille Lacs, situated between Malmo and Bergstrom Bay. Dubbed the "gold coast" of Mille Lacs for its wide, sugar sand beaches and shallow lake bottom, we offer a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house that offers all the modern amenities to comfortably host a variety of guests and occasions.

Enjoy a sunset drink on the large deck with an expansive, ocean-like view of the big lake, or cozy up to the backyard fire pit. Go for a long walk along the wide, sandy beach, or snuggle up on the big, comfy couch with a good book or movie. Whatever your tastes--fishing, swimming, kayaking, biking, hunting, golfing, casino, sailing, snowmobiling, walking, running, ATV-trails--the Mille Lacs area pretty much suits it all.

You'll find everything you need at Eagle Sands on Mille Lacs to make your getaway comfortable and memorable. A well-appointed kitchen makes it easy to cook up a family feast, or head out to one of the local restaurants or bars for a relaxing evening out. The house was perfect for three gals who do a girls trip every year. We all had our own bedroom which had very comfortable beds and were clean. There is a roof top deck on the boathouse right near the water with amazing views of Mille Lacs Lake, we were mesmerized by the changes in the sky and lake and took so many photos. The kitchen was great, we lacked nothing, which was great as we at dinners in, all evenings. The restaurants and shopping were a little further than we normally do, but that just saved us a bunch of money. Beautiful spot! Highly recommend.

This is a lovely cabin on the north shore of Mille Lacs Lake. Nice quiet area and a wonderful beach. Easy access and very clean cabin. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this house! Everything was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect, and the host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We truly felt at home and would love to come back again. Highly recommend!

Mille lacs

Not a good property if you have young children or older adults. Getting from cabin to lake is steep steps or hill. Found mouse dropping and acorns in toy compartments in house and carbo monoxide detector was going off when we arrived. Was told it was fine nothing to worry about and to unplug the detector. That was a little concerning. Cabin is overall a decent setup and the beach is very nice. Upkeep of the yard and premises is lacking. Tall unmowed grass when we got there. Firepit is in front yard next to highway not in backyard by the lake which is not a ideal place to enjoy firepit. Swing set is old and not very sturdy. Overall is was ok place. Definitely not on our return list though.

Beautiful view of Mille Lacs

Our family - mom, dad, teen - really enjoyed your stay at Eagle Sands. We went kayaking, swimming, exploring, and hiking around the area. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. I saw eagles, hummingbirds, butterflies, and even pelicans!

Relaxing getaway

We had a very relaxing stay and spent our one non-rainy day on the deck listening to the relaxing sound of waves. A great quiet place to unplug and unwind. They have a great book selection if you happen to forget one!

Peaceful doesn't suffice the serenity of this place. Quiet neighborhood, inviting and private sections of the house. It was more home than cabin. Little broods of duck families, and little chipmunks were entertaining. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

Early summer getaway

We had a nice time. I am a mom who had three teenagers with me. The house was very clean and everything was in working order. My teenagers loved splashing around on the “beach” and taking the kayaks outs. It really is shallow quite a ways out. This made floating very enjoyable. As mentioned in their description, if you are going for serious fishing plan to rent/bring a boat.

Fabulous Fall Weekend

We had an amazing stay! The communication with the owner was fantastic! Jesse was very prompt at answering our questions and providing the information we needed. The property was very clean and inviting. It included all the necessities needed. The view from the large deck was amazing. We were able to watch beautiful sunsets on both nights we were amazing! I thought being located off the road it would be noisy, but it was the total opposite. You only heard the waves from the lake. The property is also located in an area that was easy to reach many restaurants, bars, parks, etc. We will definitely be back and share the property with others. It was a great experience!!

All you could ask for

Perfect destination for a stay on the lake. Loved spending 3 days here. House is fully furnished and equipped with everything needed for a family vacation, or, in our case, just getting away for awhile. Off season for us, but a variety of water toys available. Owner was prompt with immediate responses. Water's edge deck is the place to be. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Great spot on Mille Lacs

Spectacular views of Mille Lacs! The deck on the boathouse is the star of this comfortable property. The kitchen is fully stocked and it was great to have 2 full bathrooms. Major road construction was inconvenient... but the discounted price per night reflected that issue. Thanks for the stay!

Beautiful lake view and home

This house looks cozy right when you walk in and it keeps expanding leading to a back room with more bedrooms, den, and second bathroom + shower. It has everything you need to enjoy a wonderful, fun, and peaceful location.

Beautiful view.

Well equipped home with comfortable beds. The view from the kitchen and deck were awesome. The number of migrating birds in the yard, bushes and trees were incredible.
