  • Welcome to Metatulia 7, a charming two-storey holiday home with a private pool and jacuzzi, set in the peaceful countryside of southern Crete, close to the traditional village of Sellia and within easy reach of Souda Beach and Plakias. Combining comfortable indoor spaces with beautiful outdoor areas and lovely views, it is an ideal choice for families, couples and small groups of up to 5 guests.



    The Property:



    Metatulia 7 is arranged over two floors and can comfortably accommodate up to 5 guests.



    On the ground floor, there is a bright open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining space and comfortable lounge with a Smart TV. The sofa can also be used as a bed for one additional guest.



    On the same level, there is a bedroom with two single beds, as well as a separate shower and WC.



    The upper floor features a second bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower. From this level, guests have access to a beautiful private veranda furnished with a comfortable outdoor seating area. The highlight is the private jacuzzi, where you can relax while enjoying the wonderful views of the surrounding landscape.



    Outdoor Areas & Private Pool:



    The outdoor spaces of Metatulia 7 are designed for enjoying the Cretan climate throughout the day.



    The property features a private swimming pool measuring 9.5 x 3 metres, surrounded by sun loungers and areas for relaxing under the sun.



    Next to the house, guests will find a furnished outdoor dining area, comfortable seating and BBQ facilities, creating the perfect setting for breakfast outdoors, relaxed lunches or evening dinners with family and friends.



    An outdoor shower and private parking are also available.

    Metatulia 7 enjoys a peaceful countryside setting in the wider Sellia–Plakias area of southern Rethymno, combining privacy and beautiful natural surroundings with easy access to some of the area's most popular beaches and villages.



    Souda Beach is approximately 1.3 km away, while the lively seaside village of Plakias is around 4.5 km from the property, offering supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, shops and a long sandy beach. The traditional village of Sellia is also nearby and is well worth visiting for its authentic atmosphere, local tavernas and panoramic views over the South Cretan Sea.



    The surrounding area is ideal for guests who want to discover the unique character of southern Crete, with beautiful beaches, traditional villages, scenic drives and impressive natural landscapes all within easy reach. A car is recommended to make the most of the area.



    Metatulia 7 is located next to Metatulia 8, making the two properties an excellent option for larger families or groups travelling together who wish to stay close to one another.



    At the same time, the outdoor areas of the two homes have been carefully designed to maintain privacy between the properties, allowing guests of Metatulia 7 to enjoy their private pool, jacuzzi and outdoor spaces independently and comfortably.



    Whether relaxing by the pool, enjoying the jacuzzi with the beautiful views, having a BBQ outdoors or exploring the beaches and villages around Plakias, Metatulia 7 offers a comfortable and relaxing base for a memorable holiday in southern Crete.

Beautiful and well designed villa with exceptional hospitality and service.

The villa is immaculate and set in a quiet beautiful hill overlooking the south Creten coast. In the well designed and luxurious villa you'll feel totally at peace, relaxed and disconnected from the hustle and bustle of the real world. All of the amenities are high quality and well stocked, with the villa being perfect for just chilling and enjoying the pool and view in the heat, or as a base to explore rural southern crete with all of the tasty food, traditional communities and welcoming people it has to offer. Better than even the villa amd the view has to be Sifis, the property owner and manager. He has made our stay truly exceptional, the true epitome of Greek hospitality. He really goes above and beyond, even organising food for us for our first night when we were delayed and got in very late. Sifis always makes sure you have everything you need and is happy to give recommendations for local food of all sorts. I rarely write reviews, but when I do its because a stay has been truly exceptional. Its a resounding yes from me for this great villa and even better host. A perfect introduction to untouched southern crete and all the beauty it has to offer. Unequivocally nothing.
