Villa Rogdia invites you to slow down and enjoy the rhythm of village life. The warm and inviting living room features a traditional Cretan fireplace, comfortable seating, and plenty of natural light—perfect for quiet evenings with family or friends. The fully equipped kitchen allows guests to prepare homemade meals using fresh local ingredients from nearby farms and village shops.
The villa offers three comfortable bedrooms—two twin rooms and one double—designed in a simple, traditional style. All upstairs bedrooms open onto a private terrace with outdoor furniture, perfect for enjoying the peaceful mountain views. For larger groups, the first floor also features a sofa bed that can accommodate a 7th guest, making the villa ideal for families or small groups. The property includes two bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a bathtub) for added convenience.
A unique feature of Villa Rogdia is its layout: the ground floor and first floor are connected internally but also have two separate entrances, giving guests flexibility, privacy, and easy access from street level.

Villa Rogdia is nestled in the peaceful village of Atsipades, Rethymno, offering the perfect combination of tranquillity and convenience. Just a short drive from local restaurants, traditional bakeries, and supermarkets, the villa is ideally situated for discovering Crete like a local. Explore nearby historic villages, relax on beautiful beaches, or use the villa as a base to explore both north and south Rethymno. The vibrant town of Rethymno is only 24 km away, while the seaside village of Plakias is just 16 km from your doorstep.
A car is necessary for your transportation since there are no taxis or public transportation. We can also organize a transfer in order to come to the villa
This is a house and not a hotel, so please treat the property with respect as if it was your own :) 1. You can arrive at your accommodation after 16:00 on the Arrival Date of your holiday, and you must leave by 11:00 on the Departure Date. But in any case, if you wish to arrive earlier or depart later than the mentioned hours, feel free to contact us, and we will fulfil your request if the villa is available with no extra cost. If your arrival will be delayed, you must contact us so that alternative arrangements can be made. If you fail to do so, you may not be able to gain access to the property. If you fail to arrive by midday on the day after the arrival date and you have not contacted us, we may treat the booking as having been cancelled by you.
2. People other than those in the guest party set forth above may not enter the property or stay overnight in the property. Any kind of party for more than the people staying in the property must be informed prior to booking the villa, which in some cases might not be accepted, and if accepted, an extra charge might apply. In case you do so, we can refuse to hand over the property to you or can require you to leave. We will treat any of these circumstances as a cancelation of the booking by you and we shall be under no obligation to refund you for any fees already paid to us in those circumstances. Any refund will be at our sole discretion
3. Every effort has been made to ensure that you have an enjoyable and memorable holiday. If, however, you have any cause for complaint, it is important that action is taken as soon as possible. It is essential that you contact us if any problem arises so that it can be speedily resolved. It is often extremely difficult (and sometimes impossible) for us to resolve difficulties properly unless we are promptly notified. In particular, complaints of a transient nature (example: electric power issues, warm water is out, etc.) cannot possibly be investigated unless you let us know as soon as possible whilst you are in residence. Also, after staying in the property for 48 hours, if we have not received any message or email from you about any broken facilities/amenities in the property, we will hold the guest responsible for any damages caused, and they must be paid for or replaced by the guest on the spot.
4. Smoking is Not allowed in the properties so we request all of our guests not to smoke in the properties but to smoke outside on the exterior areas, such as by swimming pools, balconies, verandas, patios or terraces
5. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. Cleaning and linen change are done every 3/4 days. In case you wish for the villa to be cleaned more often, it’s possible for an extra charge.
6. Pool: The pool is not covered and is built to the standards of the Greek Tourism Organisation (EOT). Parents have full responsibility for supervision of their minor children No children under the age of 12 are permitted in the pool at any time without adult supervision. When using the pool, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk.
7. Fireplace: The fireplace is working with wood, which will be provided. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace.
8. Quiet Hours: Please respect the quiet hours from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM and from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
9. Tenants agree to respect the property. In case of any damage that will be made, the tenants will have to pay the cost on spot and before living the villa
10. The owner agrees to provide a clean home, cleaned just before the arrival of tenants. Cleaning is done by us, changing towels and bed linen is included in the price.
