50 ft. from the waterline a small flock of three separated cottages on a beautiful and safe plot of land. (Fenced) Few steps to the sea. Nicely brand new renovated 1 studio cottages with vaulted high ceiling, ca. 400 sq.ft. (about 37 square meters), large comfortable double bed (King size), separate sofa/bed, view to the sea, inside and outside eating area, built in brand new kitchen, separate windowed bathroom with marble tiling, Shower, sink, toilet. Studio room has full A/C. Private outside Gazebos with table and chairs, with unobstructed view to the sea. It would be hard to be closer to the sea or in a more relaxing spot with the soft sound of the waves around you. And it would be hard to find such a safe location far away from the big cities but still in short walking distance (ca. 650 ft, ca. 200m) of a friendly little fishing village with many original tavernas and cafes. A bus stop close.

You will have your private studio with seaview, a private outside area that is separated from the 2 other cottages with tall natural stone walls. Your outside area has an esting place, shade by a pergola as well as a private sunbathing platform with seaview directly by the sea!

You have an english and greek speaking host that lives a few miles away. she can organise for you e.g a rental car and is there for you regularly.

The cottages are located ca 100 meters from Plaka village, just a short walk along or behind Plaka Beach. Plaka has many taverns and cafés as well as a beach bar. On very rare occasions (2-3 times during the whole summer season) there is life music in one of the restaurants or beach bar that can be heard over the bay also in the cottages. It usually stops at 23.00
PLAKA BEACH COTTAGES: PLEASE NOTE: As it each Cottage is suitable for 2 to 3 guests the total price depends on the number of booked guests. The system will calculate the price automatically depending on the number of guests. The base rate includes up to 2 persons. You can book any time an additional guest /nights as an extra.

Outstanding property

Amazing place to stay for a week of relaxation. I cannot overstate how immaculate and beautifully kept the cottage is. We stayed for a week for mostly just winding down after a stressful few months and this place really delivered.

Stunning - can't wait to come back

This place is beautiful, such a good find! We will absolutely be staying again. The terrace gets the sun right up until about 5pm (June) and its lovely and private. The accommodation itself is SPOTLESSLY clean, one of the best I've ever stayed in. Communication with the host was fantastic including during a hiccup we had with our keys late at night. Such a great stay, cannot recommend enough!!

Even better than expected!

Perfect for 2 people. Obviously its all about the location, but add in spotless accommodation, a comfy bed and a decent shower, excellent communication with the owners/manager. It's everything you need.

Great location and water front view

Unique place in a really nice location not far from Elounda and Agios Nikolai’s. Spent a few days here and the view from the private deck was beautiful. It overlooks Spinalonga island and Plaka Beach…. Going down to the beach is as simple as walking down a few stairs. Restaurants, bars, and shops all within walking distance. Self Check in process was easy and also has a private parking space close by. The unit we stayed in was not very large but all two people really need. Very peaceful and quiet as well.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Es waren perfekte zwei Wochen: Diese Anlage liegt traumhaft schön, von Plaka genau richtig weit entfernt, um die Ruhe genießen zu können, aber nicht völlig aus der Welt zu sein. Das Ambiente ist sehr ansprechend, die Betreuung durch das Management vor Ort äußerst aufmerksam und zugewandt. Mit einem Wort: paradiesisch.

Absolutely Perfect Stay

The property was well maintained and had all necessary amenities. The location is absolutely perfect, quick access to Plaka beach and an array of local restaurants. The villa was private and quiet and we cannot wait to come back. Christine was incredibly helpful and we would 100% visit here again.

Great value!

This is a great property for couples, with lots of privacy, good view and beach access, and restaurants within walking distance. Unfortunately for our stay, it was generally too windy to properly sitting outside or the swimming.

PETIT PARADIS AU BORD DE L'EAU

Nous avons passé une semaine vraiment très agréable dans le charmant cottage OLONDI. Le Solarium devant la mer donnant sur une magnifique vue sur Spinalonga et avec un accès direct à la plage de galets est juste formidable d'autant plus que la situation du cottage est en bout de plage donc plutôt tranquille .La plage de galets est bien aménagée pour accéder à la mer sans se tordre la cheville et une fois la baignade terminée , on peut se rincer avec une petite douchette prévue à cet effet et retourner s'allonger, se faire bronzer ou se prélasser sur les bains de soleil du solarium (soit au soleil jusqu'à 18 h00 environ ou sous les deux parasols. Le solarium est privé uniquement réservé au cottage Olondi et un accès également privé). Hormis le solarium, la terrasse est aussi assez grande avec deux coins repas pour prendre le petit déjeuner, l'apéro ou les repas si on le souhaite. Des tavernes très agréables pour tous les gouts et toutes les bourses sont à 350 mètres des cottages donc idéal, pas besoin de prendre la voiture pour aller diner, Au dessus des cottages, il y a également un petit parking privé de trois places donc pas de soucis de stationnement. L'aménagement du cottage est très bien, il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Armoire, cintres, table et fer à repasser , un coffre fort. La climatisation nécessaire surtout si comme nous vous venez fin juillet début août . Les fenêtres sont en double vitrage et dotées de moustiquaires. Le grand lit est très confortable. La cuisine est bien équipée avec cafetière, grille pain, bouilloire, petit frigidaire , cuisinière et hotte. Parfait pour faire de la "petite cuisine", il y aussi les articles de premières nécessité pour commencer la semaine (huile d'olive, sel, poivre ,origan, filtres à café, éponge, liquide vaisselle, sacs poubelles, deux rouleaux de papier toilette) et en plus une charmante attention des propriétaires avec dans le frigidaire le nécessaire pour se préparer une salade grecque (tomates, concombre, féta) ainsi que 2 bières, 1 litre de lait, 1 litre de jus de fruits, 2 petites bouteilles d'eau, deux petits pot de confiture, du miel, et du beurre, 1 paquet de gâteaux , 1 paquet de pain de mie, des spaghettis et de la sauce tomate.. C'est très appréciable lorsque l'on arrive. La salle de bain est propre et aménagée correctement. Les serviettes de toilettes et de plage sont également prévues. Bref, une adresse à recommander pour d'agréables et tranquilles vacances .

Beautiful location

Beautiful location, very restful. Confusion on arrival as didn't know what house we rented. Didn't know the name but was sorted out. We were put in the house for 10 days that we thought we rented then moved to the rear property as that was the house we rented. Although all lovely properties if you want to have a seaview from your cottage make sure you rent a front property not the rear property. The cottage manager was very helpful so was the cleaner. Overall lovely stay will return

En bref, bien pour le soleil, l'accès à la mer, les ballades et les restos. Il s'agit d'un logement sur 3. Celui que nous avions s'appelle Olondi. Dans celui ci il y a une très belle terrasse sur la mer, grande et agréable. Pour les petites attentions, nous avions à l'arrivée de quoi prendre un petit déjeuner + eau + bière + chips. Agréable quand on a pas eu le temps de faire les courses avant de venir. Point négatif : - la cuisine ne dispose pas de plan de travail utilisable et cela rend compliqué de préparer les repas. Par contre elle est bien équipée. Nous avons réellement apprécié ce séjour en mai. Bel endroit.

Location, location, location!

Wonderful cottage in an an amazing location. Christine was a great host and everything was perfectly arranged, including transfer from the airport. The village is peaceful, but with plenty of good restaurants (we liked Ostria, Paliria and The Carob Tree). Spinilonga is lovely to visit and there are plenty of other places of interest nearby like Knossos. Our favourite trips were a Land Rover safari into the mountains, and a brilliant horse riding session in the local countryside (with Fourni Horses). A really lovely place to visit - thank you.

A little gem!

This was a really nice studio apartment, one of three, virtually on the beach at Plaka. The setting could not have been better, with a great view of Spinalonga, loads of private outdoor space, real peace and quiet, but all within a 5 minute walk of local tavernas. We visited at the very end of the season, when we were the only guests and the beach was virtually empty, but we chose this villa with peace and quiet in mind and it was perfect! We left England when it was snowing and watched the sun rise every morning from our terrace in Plaka in shorts and t-shirts!

Everything PERFECT

From the moment we booked this beautiful place and until we left, everything was just perfect. First we received am email with all the details we needed in order to find the place, the key for the studio, where the private parking is situated ... Thank you for the water, bread, cheese, tomato, cucumber and biscuits you offered for the first day, it was more than appreciated! After a tiring day of travelling by plane and then by car, it was a nice touch not to worry for the next morning breakfast 😊 We had a very nice conversation with Cristinne, who visited us just to see if we need something and if we are happy with our accomodation. Please aware that of the three bungallows, Olondi is the one in the back, the other two bring in front, just by the beach. The upside of renting this bungallow is that you will have the largest private sunbed terrace.

Stunning location, beautiful property

What a lovely place to stay! We have booked again already. Well equipped, comfortable cottage, beach, good tavernas, mini markets very close by. Bus stop close if you want to explore further afield and can tear yourself away from beautiful Plaka and the view of Spinalonga set in the crystal clear blue sea. Christine contacted us before the holiday and arranged a taxi transfer and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. Absolutely perfect ☀️

Nine great days in Plaka

Nice little studio with great terraces. You have to try watching stars at night lying on the big terrace with a glass of wine. One terrace for breakfast, one terrace for dinner and one to relax and watch the Spinalonga Island and the people on the beach bellow. We always rent a car and do trips almost every day. Not this time. Highly recommended to people who like peace and quiet and beautiful places.

Beautiful Property in a Stunning Location

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Olondi - the accommodation and outside areas were superb, really clean and well maintained by Jimmy and Lela. On arrival, there was a lovely welcome pack with essential items. The view from the sunbathing terrace was just so beautiful (even better than the photos) looking across to Spinalonga and the beach is literally on your doorstep. We could not fault any aspect of our stay and Christine, our host, was very attentive - arranging our flight transfers and checking in on us the day after arrival to check everything was ok. Thank you Christine, Jimmy and Lela for making our stay such an unforgettable one - we hope to return again in the future.

Incredible! Like living in a postcard!

We are three friends travelling around Greece and spent a few days at the cottages. It was an amazing experience, perfect for our group. The host/staff were very friendly and provided more than what we needed. The location couldn't be better and was a highlight of our trip to Greece. Highly recommend visiting Spinalonga and reading The Island. Thank you again for everything. We hope to return someday with our families.
