"The Ashville Guesthouse is a superb place to stay. I stayed here for four nights. The staff (family owned and operated) are friendly, polite, personable, and professional. It is a little outside of Westport, but close enough to everything. The Ashville Guesthouse delivers an exceptional breakfast for all tastes. I would come back here in a heart-beat. "First time in Castlebar and found this hotel to be a great location to stay in before my meeting next day. Whilst i arrived after 7pm and the restaurant kitchen closed at 7pm, I rang the reception and they offered me the choice to pre order a dinner - went for Roast Beef. On arrival check-in was very swift, my room was warm and comfortable and dinner when served was delicious. Quiet room with warm shower and great bed - so superb sleep enjoyed.
