"Started badly as not met at airport. We didn’t seem to be expected on arrival. Given one of the newer lodges. Had to ask for air con to be fixed. Door lock difficult to operate. Had to ask for tea and coffee facilities. Shower freezing cold and flooded room. Had to pay taxi driver for airport drop off when transfers were included. I had stayed at this lodge last year and the annoying issues still remain. I had tried to make contact with the property in advance of the trip regarding booking...

They arranged a morning game drive for me, a sunset cruise on the Zambezi and trip into town to see Victoria Falls from both the Zimbabwe and Zambia sides.
You’re truly treated like family."

"I enjoyed swimming in my private pool! The resort was amazing, clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I felt pressure to tip everyone, which was overwhelming as there are a lot of people helping you. There is a collective tip box but it doesn't include tipping the drivers and front office staff. In future I would let everyone know I will tip them on the last day and avoid the stress of having tip money with me all the time. "

"When we arrived to our room, there was no running water. There were a multitude of ants. The pool was not useable and the restaurant was closed because there were so few guests. I had wanted to get a massage but the two spa rooms were not air conditioned and when she showed us the space it was clear it was not used regularly. She would have had to call someone to come in.
We stayed here because it was close to the airport but it didn’t really reduce the price of the airport transfer and...

"Drift Inn was hands-down one of my favorite finds in Victoria Falls. It has that rare combination of being relaxed, welcoming, stylish, and genuinely fun without ever feeling overdone or touristy.
The atmosphere is fantastic, gardens and a nice hangout/honest bar zone - the staff are warm and helpful. It feels like the kind of place where someone actually cared about creating an experience, not just filling rooms."

"El hotel está muy cerca de las cataratas, se escuchan por la noche, es genial. Al lado está el mercado de artesanías que es enorme. En frente ya hay restaurantes y el resto están a un minuto a pie. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y limpias nosotros estuvimos en una superior y la cama es cómodisima. El personal de recepción estupendo, nos atendieron genial. Si vuelvo a cataratas victoria me quedaré en ese hotel. "
