"One of our absolute favorite small boutique hotels in Truckee. I lived for 20 years at Lake Tahoe, and know this property well. Smart design, and thoughtful touches in the rooms. The staff is terrific, as is the location to the historic downtown retail core of Truckee. Just an awesome place!"

"Really enjoyed this stay. Wish the directions for the fireplace were more clear, as we couldn't start it since there were no instructions for a particular part, and there also was no shampoo, which was a bit of a hassle. Other than that, the stay was great. They had a delicious breakfast that they happened to be doing which as really nice and the bedding was very comfortable. Amenities were great. Will be back for sure. "

"The Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe is a very impressive property sitting on top of a mountainside in the Northstar resort area about halfway between Truckee and Kings Beach. "The location is nearly perfect! The rate was incredible. The only thing that wasn’t ideal was the lack of A/C but we knew that going in. The service was great. The room was nice and clean. Literally across the street from the lake shore and a little park. Would definitely recommend!"
