"Perfect location near stores and friendly, welcoming staff at check-in. If you book with the understanding that this is a basic motel for a good price at the Jersey shore, then you will be happy. Don't book expecting a 5-star hotel. The king-size bed was comfortable and clean, with ample closet space and a basic bathroom. This was all we needed for a one-night visit with family. "

"This is one of the older Residence Inns, the room had old furniture, very dramb walls, no photos; the toilet bowl color was fading; the kitchen had old appliances; no ice containers;
The heating/cooling system (HVAC) was not working correctly. The front desk sent the engineer to check the system. His response, the system was not working correctly because the return air duct for that room was too small for the unit and it would take hours to warm the room. He placed the thermostat on 75 degrees...

"Overall, found the staff to be very friendly and courteous; the only reason I was unable to give five stars was due to my room smelling like stale cigarette smoke, despite being a smoke-free room (no fault of the owners). The building is quite old, but appears to be maintained within reason. The room was clean, and everything worked as expected. For the price, I cannot complain!"
