"The staff and main building were excellent; however, I was in courtyard in an annex out of shot of lovely sales picture. It was an accessible needs room (I assume due to hotels.com booking) but no cheaper than direct booking. The tv was on a shelf at ceiling height so difficult to watch unless standing. The tap fell off but luckily slotted back on and worked with care. The room door was an internal stable type door so had no insulation or sound proofing meaning people accessing a storage room...

"What a lovely comfortable stay. Nice beds , pillows and duvet and in a beautiful house. Tea and coffee and a bottle of water on arrival. Could have had breakfast but didn't. There's a pub down the road.
Will definitely stay again and go for walks around the area"

"The only problem was that my wife and I are in our Seventies year young, and during the cold spell early March, the room heater did not come on until 18.00pm.
We were cold .
We did not complain to reception because we know that the heating was timed set to come on."
