"We had a fantastic 3 days at Addo River-View Lodge. Our hostess, Leanne, was fabulous and very helpful and informative. The proximity of the location to Addo Elephant Park was ideal and we booked a guided full day tour there. We also enjoyed a sunset boat trip on the Sundays River and climbed the sand dunes. The local restaurant, Taste of Africa, was excellent and less than a 3 minute walk. Highly recommended."

"Waren mit dem Aufenthalt sehr zu frieden. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen, sicheren Umgebung nicht weit vom Strand und nur 20min mit dem Auto vom Südeingang zum Addo Elefanten Park entfernt. Die Suite war groß, sauber und gut eingerichtet. Großes Bad mit separater Dusche und Whirlpool Badewanne. WLAN kostenlos. Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück direkt am Haus. "Wir hatten ein hübsches Chalet mit reetgedecktem Dach. Das Auto parkte direkt daneben unter einem Baum. Auf dem Gelände gibt es Springbok und andere Tiere zur ständigen Beobachtung. Auch ein Schwimmbad mit Liegen und Schattenplatz ist auf dem Gelände. Das Hotel liegt an einer Straße und an einer Farm. Beide können Lärm verursachen, wie auch einige Wildvögel oder Tiere aus dem am Hotel gelegenen Tierpark mit sehenswerter Großvoliere."

"Smallish lodge with informative game drives. Staff really nice a friendly. Accomodation was clean and comfortable. Nice to have a couple of Hippo's hanging out the front. Food good without being over the top. Given the weather, didnt get to make much use of the outdoor area, but would be nice in summer. My only gripe is when I neede to cancel and rebook, it took almost 2 months and the commencement of credit card chargeback to get my refund (which was not disputed). "

"Die Bilder der Unterkunft vermitteln mir eine gehobene Mittelkasse, was ich persönlich nicht so empfand. Die Couch im Wohnzimmer ist durchgesessen und weißt starke Gebrauchsspuren auf, welche durch eine Decke verdeckt werden. Ca 100m neben an befindet sich eine Tankstelle, ein SPAR und ein Parkplatz, welcher rege von großen Trucks genutzt wird, Obwohl das Appartment zur Fluß Seite liegt, empfand ich entspanntes relaxen auf dem großzügigen Balkon etwas schwierig. "Comfortable, with easy access to Grahamstown approx 1hr, Addo Elephant park approx 15 min and Port Elizabeth 30 min. Staff are friendly and helpful. "

"Had a short stay. The Hostess was friendly, patient & accommodating. The property is situated in a peaceful neighborhood. The beach is a 'stone-throw' from the accommodation. Sadly, though... the restaurants/eateries are approximately 10-15kms drive away. "

"Needs major improvement... extremely cold rooms without heat and building needs also to be upscaled urgently. But the major issue was at dinner when a lady (probably the owner) approached us explaining that because there was not going to be electricity the next day I had to prepay all expenses + any future expenses, which I gladly did... but there was no electricity shortage the next day, even when I asked an employee they didn’t know what was so talking about. It seems to me and please correct...
