"There's always a slight hesitation in booking unknown economy accommodation in an unfamiliar city. Our weekend in Christchurch was undoubtedly enhanced by staying in this really pleasant motel. The staff were really accommodating and helpful and our room was well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Free onsite parking was a bonus in a city location.They even retrieved some coats we accidentally left in the wardrobe - thank you, once again. "

"It was a very clean aparthotel room with great amenities, including kitchenette and laundry. It was a convenient location, walkable to many dining options and close to botanical gardens. Be mindful of reception hours. I arrived after reception had closed and was unsure how to get access to my room. Fortunately, I was able to call the number in the booking, and they were able to give me remote access (there are "after-hours" procedures)."

"This was perfect. My 2 small children and I came in on the last flight of the night into the area, and a bag was left behind in Wellington. We had space, comfortable beds, and a cute little food truck in the parking lot. It was what we needed until our baggage caught up with us. We were, safe, warm, and treated very well. Would stay here again! "

"I stayed in unit 8 - I was really happy with the location of the motel, also how quiet it was. The check in was a breeze, very lovely welcome. I was very very impressed with how clean my whole room and bathroom was- it was next level. I had a lovely balcony to have a cuppa tea and dinner on. I am definitely staying there from now on when I'm in CHC. The mall was straight across the road, loads of eateries to choose from. The bed was super comfortable.!! "

"Despite having worked in a prison, this iconic venue brought home a taste of the reality even with comfortable beds and the freedom to come and go. It's not the staff's fault, but some inmates need to learn the meaning of the silent period routine. Glad we came back for a second stay, even though the setting has lost its novelty value for us...
