"This is an old school motor hotel. All one story and park in front of your room. Perfect for a night on the road. We originally requested 2 queen beds as we prefer to lay out clothes on one bed and sleep in the other. But when we got to the room we found these were older queen beds, which means closer to full size mattresses. Nothing wrong with them but the size. "We got a call from the motel at about 3:30pm asking us when we would arrive. When we arrived the office door was locked and I had to ring the bell. The exterior of the motel was neatly kept and looked freshly painted. Our room was freshly painted. When we tried to use the tv the remote wouldn't work and when I picked up the phone to call the desk, the phone was dead.
