Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. This property is in a perfect location for enjoying all the thrills of this seaside town. It’s situated just a short walk from a large fun fair, amusement arcades, pubs, restaurants and shops, it really does have it all. Nestled just 500 yards away is Towyn’s sandy beach, perfect for a picnic by the sea, or a spot of sunbathing in the summer months. the property enjoys its own enclosed, courtyard gardens with sitting-out area, perfect for relaxing in after a busy day exploring this lovely corner of Wales.

    A little further afield, but still within easy reach, guests can find the Welsh Mountain Zoo in Colwyn Bay and the Victorian town of Llandudno, where guests can visit the Great Orme with its dry ski slope, cable cars and historic tramway to the summit. The historic town of Conwy, where you can visit Britain’s smallest house and explore the magnificent mediaeval castle, is also within easy reach. The towns of Prestatyn (the starting point for Offa’s Dyke walks), Ruthin and Mold are lovely towns to visit and excellent walking can be found in the nearby Clwydian Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Chester with its city walls, cathedral and excellent shopping is also within easy reach, as well as the stunning scenery of the Snowdonia National Park. Beach 500 yards. We stayed at Ashover Lodge last week and really enjoyed our time there - even though we were 2 adults with French bulldogs we still had plenty of room!The lodge had everything we needed and was in a great location for travelling around the area.People had mentioned in previous reviews about the comfy bed and we have to agree! The neighbours were all really friendly and If we are in the area again in the future we would definitely stay there!

Weeks holiday with 2 small dogs

Had a lovely stay, the property was well situated for us to visit around the area, great little garden meant we could keep door open (as very hot weather) and the dogs were safe. The property was well equipped with a few little extras which was very appreciated ie washing up liquid, soap cleaning products provided along with some coffee sachets and a few other items. Plus has a hairdryer. Nice big comfy sofa. There was limited storage room for clothes with just a wardrobe, could have done with some drawers in the bedroom and although not much room could fit a small narrow drawer unit under mirror. Nice size bathroom, but could do with a unit or shelf in there as no where to keep for toiletries,The fridge needed a more thorough clean as i think a previous visitor may have spilt milk in the door and by the last few days did have a bad smell, I tried to clean this but couldn’t get the shelf bit out to remove it and clean underneath.We did have to ask the neighbour to move his car every time we wanted to leave or return to the property which was a bit of a pain although he was always very nice about it. Overall I would recommend this accommodation.

This was our third time staying at Ashover Lodge.

This was our third time staying at Ashover Lodge. Location is brilliant, right by the entertainment but still very quiet. Neighbours are very friendly. Lodge is comfortable with everything you need for a nice break away.The enclosed garden is perfect for your furry friends. Our sausage dogs just loved it. Parking on site is an absolute bonus.We have loved our break away here at Ashover Lodge and will be returning for a fourth time in the future.
