"Incredible hotel! The staff is amazing. So friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The grounds, rooms, and views are stunning. The sea pool is beyond and the diving boards are so much fun. We brought our 8 month old and they provided a crib, stuffed animal, and adorable backpack. The staff was also very sweet with the baby and offered a high chair at every meal. "I loved the rooftop bar which has spectacular views over Funchal and a great selection of drinks and light meals. Happy Hour was always a favourite!. The UVA restaurant is well worth a visit and offers a good price/quality ratio. The staff are efficient, cheerful and friendly. I have no real downers - may be the turn down service was earlier than expected but I'm nitpicking here."

"Very nice personal and service. Free drinks, towels and other stuff. Big Hotel with a lot of stuff like small football and basketball court, tidy beautiful rooms with very beautiful views. A lot of good restaurants around and the Promenade is like 10min Walk. Just one small complain, the ping pong balls and the football table were not in a good condition but that is almost irrelevant. All in all 5 stars very good stay."
