"Amazing hospitality from Melani! Perfect escape for relaxation and getting in touch with nature. Our rooms were modern and well equipped with stunning views of the mountains. There was access to hiking trails directly from the property. We really enjoyed walking into town and lazing around the heated pool. Added joy of having the most well behaved and loving dogs we have ever met! Even if you are not a dog lover, Kenya and Luca will respect your space. Can’t wait to return! "

"What a great little Guest House. Upon arrival we were greeted joyfully by the owner who walked us through and showed us around, she could not have been more kind and generous. Our room was perfect and sadly it was only for a one night stay. Breakfast was cooked to order which included plenty of sides such as yogurt, fresh fruit, toast, lots of different teas, coffee, cheeses, croissants etc. I had a very pleasant conversation with the owner over breakfast. "We loved our stay at Doorn Kraal. Firstly the staff are lovely and so professional. Our room (the 2 bedroom cottage) was super neat and tidy, and it had everything we needed and it was very quiet as it’s a bit further away. Just be mindful at night, there may be one or two spiders in the trees when you walk to the cottage (have a flashlight). The food was soo delicious, we could not stop thinking about the wonderful dinner. We will stay again. Thanks to all the staff! "

"Things have changed since I was last here , rooms are still good, they have upgraded their breakfast and the amount of choice is excellent,quality is good ,the grounds have been meticulously kept neat and tidy ,it’s a perfect place if you have kids to be free and play , such a treat to see the animals and wild animals that are close by,we really enjoyed our stay ,we were not affected by loadshedding-generator onsite "
