Far too loud, and was laughed at by security assuming I could just pop up for a drink as a resident - they were full, but they had seats at the bar. I had to push to get them. Cocktails were terrible and over priced. Tried the bar downstairs, was better as you could hear but again the drinks were poor. "Great hotel, love it, love it, love it! Great facilities i.e. pool, sauna, rooms, bar, gym, toilets. Price competitive to others in the area. Quiet, clean, lovely beds and carpets, great views and central to restaurants. Only thing to improve is to have breakast a bit ealier, otherwise, great hotel, super recommended and will stay again for sure."

"Good centrally located hotel, 10 minutes from the station. The room i had was large and well presented but no shampoo or handwash in the bathroom. Staff were accommodating letting a large group leave bags before check in. "

"We stayed at this property in May 2026. While the staff were extremely kind and helpful, the air conditioner in our room was not working and they refused to change our room since they were all booked and declined a refund/compensation too. When you pay £137 a night the least you expect is for the air conditioner to work especially when it’s been a hot day and you’re on the top floor of the hotel. Pretty poor for a ‘Marriott’ hotel. Avoid at all costs."
