"This is such a great hidden gem. Only a quick (less than 10minute drive) from the beach town of El Tunco. If renting a car, there is safe parking available on the Casa Maya property and parking lots for a fee ($3) at El Tunco. The Casa Maya staff, including the parking attendant Luis who helped bring our bags in, were very kind and helpful throughout our whole stay. The check in process was quick and easy! "The room was very unique and the pool was so nice. They offered free breakfast and free yoga which was great. I loved these aspects of the hotel. However, I wanted to shower one night and the shower didn’t even work. It was very inconvenient. The hotel staff wasn’t able to fix it until the following day. We ended up showering in another room, although we slept in our own room after. It was a very stressful evening that overshadowed an otherwise nice stay."
