Our room had a balcony on the front overlooking the bay which was lovely, the balcony is open to the adjacent rooms, we found it surprising that smoking was permitted on the balconies, which was not appreciated, but you find in Guernsey smoking outside in public areas seems to be permitted/the norm?! "A charming hotel, with a friendly and helpful staff. A good place for a solo traveller. Although, it's a little way out of town, it has a good size car park, a complimentary mini bus service, that goes into town twice in the morning and returns twice a day and a bus stop virtually opposite the entrance. Was glad I was warned about the lack of air conditioning, so I brought a small fan which I needed despite being able to leave the French windows to my balcony open. The choice of hot food at...
