"For my money, Blue Corals is the best value on Malapascua Island. The staff are amazing and even gave me a free upgrade to a room with a private balcony with a ocean view. The Mango Pancakes at breakfast Time are to die for, my one and only complaint is it seems the island shuts down around 8pm and their is nothing really to do."

"The Mangrove is an amazing place to stay and relax at. They have several cottages on their own private beach, and if you get sunburn from swimming all day they grow aloe vera on the premise that you can pluck. In addition, the air-condition in the room was cold and there was a clothesline outside my room so that I could dry my wet clothes. Management and the staff are very friendly, and the Mangrove has the best fruit shakes I've had in the Philippines. I will definitely be coming back. "
