"We had ensuite with a bath which was lovely. The room was very clean and the continental breakfast was very generous. Our room overlooked the park and the river which we really enjoyed, the busy road at night not so much but that's because we are not used to it, it was warm and we needed to keep the windows open which let in more noise. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. There are stairs everywhere so if you have limited mobility this could be an issue. There are ground floor...

"The good: located directly beside the train station for convenience, room was tidy, staff were friendly, breakfast was sufficient, although a tad expensive, but comparative to other hotels fair. The poor: the AC did not work, the hotel room was 27C the whole time. When complaining to the staff, they shrugged and handed us a small fan. "There are no useful amenities and the ones advertised aren’t really: the bar is a desk that never seems to be open no draft beer etc. the swimming pool was locked up with a comdnation lock that we were not given the code to on arrival and the nearest pub is 30 minutes away over fields however it was a very nice pub to eat & drink. When we arrived there was no one there and the door to the reception was not opened until 16:00 on the dot by the receptionist who was in there all along."

"Our arrival was admittedly very late - 2.30am. TV in our room did not work at all. The 24 hr Receptionist could not communicate so unable to help about the TV. Breakfast was self service Toast/Strawberry Jam and Cereals. Staff hardly any spoke English.We had to leave very early so no experience of whether the Bar was open or not. Very poor quality hotel so will not ever stay there again."

"Staff were lovely. Check in was good. Although couldn’t book us in any earlier & we were attending an event which was a shame. But no huge issue. Parking superb Bathroom lovely. We stayed in Sariska room which is on the front of the building. Being a Saturday night stay - it was a tad noisey & nothing to do with the hotel. But some car with a loud exhaust drive up & down quite a lot during the early night. We closed the windows to block it out but then as we’ve had this hot weather the room...
