"Despite being very close to the M4, the room we stayed in was quiet, comfortable and clean. Well maintained public rooms as well. All the staff from check in, bar staff, waiting staff and the maids were very pleasant, helpful and considerate. Nothing was too much trouble. Good value for money & as much breakfast as you need. "Had 2 rooms booked for 2 nights Reception were helpful on checking in but the rooms were in separate buildings which was annoying for us and both on second floor so difficult with luggage on steep stairs. The double room had no TV remote and the soap by the hand basin didn’t work . They fixed it the next day but these should be checked prior to arrival ! "In my booking confirmation via Expedia the price for parking was confirmed to be 30 GBP per night, which is already quite expensive. However upon arrival the price was 50 GBP per night, which is just useless. Other hotels are able to honor the price confirmed at the time of the booking for existing bookings also when the car park is managed through an external company. During our time in the hotel the lift was broken which was a major annoyance. The rooms are very small for a family with four...

"The room was exceptionally clean as was the bathroom. There was constant hot water in the shower. The bed was comfortable, although I did find the pillows a bit unforgiving. The soundproofing was excellent, which ensured a good night’s sleep."

"Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the room, and it was very warm, we could not sleep at all. To the hotel management: please invest in some AC, this is not laxury, it's is basic in a hotel."
