"Clean room, working AC, big enough room"

"I recently stayed at ibis budget Barcelona Sant Andreu de la Barca from April 9–15 with my wife, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience especially for our first visit to Spain. The biggest issue was the temperature in the room. It was extremely hot throughout our entire stay, making it nearly impossible to sleep. "A guest house in a medieval village close to the sanctuary of monserrat. A beautiful setting in a village without many amenities. I was traveling back and forth to Barcelona for a trade show bus and train service to the city is very good and if you like a tranquil setting with few dining options this is your place"

"The staff was friendly. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the city and hills at night. It seems they have multiple buildings with rooms. We were in the building attached to the reception. We appreciated the free parking in the nearby parking garage for our car. The room was affordable albeit we were only a 40-minute drive to the airport in the morning traffic. We did not have the breakfast as we had an early departure. "The owner, Jordi, and his staff went out of their way to help me. He gave me a ride from the train station to his nearby restaurant, where I had a fantastic dinner. Then he dropped me off at the hotel. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The front desk attendant was kind enough to drive me to the bus stop for my journey to Barcelona.
