"I stayed here in 2025 and I must say that I saw a huge improvement across the board at Hostel 165. It seems like some renovations may have been done. The staff were quite attentive and regularly cleaned the bathrooms, restocking toilet paper etc. There’s no longer a stove in the kitchen so there’s a lot less activity in a small area. The fridges are still overflowing and need to be cleaned down. Overall, I do recommend that Hostel 165 is a good option when staying in this area of Madrid."

"Excelente hotel! Siempre regreso. Es perfecto para llegar a dormir y visitar la ciudad. Desayuno es muy bueno."

"turned out to be a great location. at first being on a busy main street i was worried but the 2 side streets on either side of the main street (with the hotel in the middle) bring you to cool little plazas and pedestrian only streets with cafes, shops etc. I didnt realize that it was a shared kitchen when i booked which would have been ok except it was only a microwave and refrigerator and electric water kettle. room was extremely small. i had to sit up in bed to work on my computer. i wouldnt...
