#1 Zion Kolob Farm Stay

This serene, private guest home on our family ranch is just 9 miles south of Cedar City. Enjoy our friendly farm animals, orchard, and seasonal garden.   Minutes from Kanarraville Falls, Spring Creek, and other trails. 10 min from Zion's North Entrance.  

Central location to other Parks: Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands.  

Relax in your own private space that backs up to our Highland Cow pasture. You may feed our cattle over the fence, or just enjoy the serenity and sounds of the country side and our many farm animals.  Currently we have highland cattle, Nigerian dwarf goats, alpaca, chickens, dogs and kittens!   

Your personal back patio has a private hot tub, fire pit, and amazing view of Kanarraville Mountains and Zion.  It borders the fence line of one of our miniature Highland Cattle pastures. Enjoy walking in our garden and orchard. Guests are welcome to pick fruit and vegetables when in season.  

Guest Wifi is available. We are in a rural area, and our wifi is satellite based. It is generally reliable, with rare outage and speeds averaging 50mbps. 

Master bedroom has a comfortable king bed, closet, 42" smart TV, extra blankets and pillows.  Alarm Clock charges your smart phone, with USB cord capabilities.  Loft space is accessible by ladder. Loft sleeps up to 2 people on 2 twin XL mattresses.  They can be rolled together to make a king bed if preferred.  Extra large 75" smart tv allows you to log into your favorite streaming services. XL beanbag, and 2 chairs for lounging, streaming, or working.   

Living room sofa pulls out to make a queen size bed.  Sleep up to 2 on a memory foam mattress.  Linens in the TV console table, and pillows are in the Master Bedroom closet.  Large 52" Roku TV allows you to stream your favorite stations.   

Dining bar seats up to 6.  Windows open to the cows pasture in case you want to invite them to breakfast with you!  Please, only feed provided treats to keep our animals healthy!   The kitchenette is fully stocked with plates, bowls, utensils, cups, mixing bowls, knives, pots and pans, and basic cooking utensils.  Hot plate with 2 burners for cooking. Also, towels, sponge, dish soap, salt, pepper, oil and cooking spray.  Appliances include Mini Fridge with Freezer, Microwave, and Keurig Coffee machine with pods or a reusable cup if you bring your own brew.   Disposal in sink for small crumbs, however please do not put food down due to our delicate septic system. Dishwasher for your convenience.   

Private bathroom has a walk in shower, claw foot tub toilet and double sinks. Towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided.  Hair dryer available under counter.  

This guest home has Heat and AC through a mini split system.  Master bedroom, living area, and loft are individual and fully customizable to your needs.   

This is a working Ranch! Please expect the sights and smells of farm life. We clean the pastures daily, and our animals are well groomed. However, along with animals comes dust, dirt, bugs, flies, manure, mud, etc!  If these small inconveniences will bother you during your stay, this might not be the best fit for your family.  

We love animals!  However, for our animals heath and safety, as well as the health and safety of guests, we do not allow outside animals on our ranch. Thanks for understanding.   

Up to 2 guests included, with option to sleep up to 6 (additional cost of $10 per guest over 2).  Plenty of room for parking up to 2 vehicles.  If you're bringing your ATVs, boats, etc, we can accommodate trailers in the field next to the guest home. 



Private to Guests:  There are 2 guest homes connected by a utility room that is  locked and not accessible by guests in either home. Each guest home has completely private living space, including bedroom, bathroom, loft, kitchen, living area, parking area, front porch, and back patio, including private hot tub and private gas fire pit.  Each home has private parking for up to 2 cars.  The pasture behind your private back patio is off limits for guests.  You can pet and feed the animals over the fence, but please do not enter.  We clean the pasture daily, so there will be handlers out there during your stay.  However, they will not enter your fenced, private back patio.   

Shared areas on the property include: the goats pasture for petting a feeding goats, a large wood fire pit where we occasionally host s'more roasts and sing-a-longs, the garden and orchard area, and the fields around the guest homes.  Please be respectful of other guests and do not enter their parking or front porch areas.  

Happy to have you at our Ranch!  We are around doing farm chores, construction chores, family chores, animal chores, etc!  If you need help, give a holler!  

A few miles north of Beautiful Kanarraville, UT. Relax in our small town, enjoy local hikes and restaurants. Linskey's is a small restaurant in town, and there is also the Kanarraville Snackery where you can get drinks, shave ice, and treats!  

Local hikes include Kanarra Falls (Permit Required), and Spring Creek Trail (no permit needed!)  Located 10 min away from Cedar City, where you can find any amenities you may need.  Pools, parks, swimming and fishing lake, Grocery, movie theater, plays, festivals, hospital, etc!  

Perfect location for exploring National parks.  We are 10 min from the North entrance to Zion (the better, quieter side of Zion!), within an hour of Zion West entrance, Brian Head Resort, Cedar Breaks, Three peaks Recreation, Sand Hollow reservoir, Quail Creek reservoir, and so many more wonderful outdoor activities and places!   
1.5 hours from Bryce canyon, and a great jumping off point to reach Capitol Reef, Arches, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell....so many amazing places within a few hours.
