"Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. Overall, thoroughly recommended."

"The room was very comfortable and impeccably clean. Access was easy using the door enrty codes provided. Wifi was good and easy to log onto. The Guest house was also vey quiet, with no disturbances. I used the breakfast room before I left, and ate granola, greek yoghurt and blueberries with a Coffee latte. These were dispensed from a vending machine, but were fresh and tasted lovely. Bowls, mugs and cuttlery were available. The staff I met were also friendly and chatty. I would highly recommend...

"Clean spacious room with good amenities and the individual designs are a great change from standard hotels where all rooms are the same. Staff were all great from check in and out, to breakfast and the mini tour on arrival was a nice touch ie being shown to room etc. We were also able to check in early which was a big help asxwe could go out for rest of day without breaking off to check in. "We stayed in the double delux room and it didn’t disappoint. The hotel is exceptionally clean and very well presented. There was water, tea and coffee along with juice, fresh towels and fruit available all day. The staff are very friendly and made sure our stay had everything we wanted. Very impressed with this lovely hotel and would definitely stay again. It’s very well situated with a short walk in to the centre. "
