"A very nice little flat 10 minutes walk away from the city centre. Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. Effective fan provided which was a godsend during hot weather. Kids bedroom was nice too and they loved the bunk bed set up, which was solid. There is outdoor space however it is shared and a small shadowy courtyard. Doesn't look used at all. The flat is a funny layout. "This is a wonderful old building with quaint decor, a lovely staff, and very tasty breakfast. It's perfectly located being both easy to get to from the train station and a short stroll from the sites of York. There is a bit of noise from the bars, but luckily they provide ear plugs of you need them."
