"Very calm hotel. Staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast is consistent and because it’s not so packed I can get my extra eggs and juices ;) There’s a beautiful park right around the corner right next to the local public library, Bed is super comfortable. Anything I asked of they do for me so I can’t complain. Will definitely stay next time in Hillsboro. "

"Overall, a very nice little place. Was much smaller than it appeared on the listing and a bit cramped with all the furniture in it, yet it met all of our needs for staying while we explored Oregon. The Blue Heron sanctuary was quite fascinating to listen to and we enjoyed hearing & watching the Eagle as well :) A lovely area! Communication with the owner was prompt and thorough and they even left us some information about the various areas we could explore being in Oregon for the first time. :) "

"My daughter and I stayed at Vicki’s beautiful house. We were able to take advantage of the deck and enjoyed the view while sharing some wine. The accommodations were perfect: clean, spacious for us, nicely decorated and comfortable. Restaurants were nearby. We definitely would like to return. Thanks Vicki!"

"I wish I could write a better review for this place. I was super excited to stay here but it just wasn't worth the price. Upon driving up to the house you immediately see a large blue tarp covering most of the roof. The outside exterior clearly needs some maintenance and is in disarray. The entrance to the place is down some side stairs that also need some repair. The door doesn't lock! Entering the apartment/flat, you are immediately overcome with a smell of must and urine! "The location was convenient to the convention center, which was good for our stay. The famous food truck rodeo is a short drive away. The house is an older duplex and has a very "apartment living" kind of vibe. It's at the edge of a quiet neighborhood but on a busy street with the train running on it. The king bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and check-in was straightforward."

"Wife and I stayed here with our two dogs and it was great! The neighborhood was friendly and convenient. I was a little worried about parking, but it was all for naught. I never had trouble getting a spot within 50 feet of the house. There’s a wonderful park within walking distance and plenty of places to eat. All in all a wonderful experience."

"Seems like everything is no more than 25 minutes away - wonderful hosts that had everything set up as advertised, friendly but not obtrusive….the Portland weather kept us from enjoying the hot tub and fire pit during our extended weekend stay , but the yard is a magnificent oasis of flowers, fresh herbs and a. Fig tree and lots of singing birds in the morning to enjoy with your coffee on the deck …as a veteran of the great folk scare of the 1960’s the vinyl collection is outstanding. "
