"We first stayed in Nov 24. This time we stayed Apr 26. Previously we were in the Annex, but this time we were in the main building. The room was large and nicely decorated. I booked two rooms as our adult daughter came too. Both rooms were cold even though the heating was on, but its an old building, so probably difficult to heat. "Rugby match was being played and the car park was full even though there were security guards on checking in your staying, in the morning the car park was empty. The bar and restaurant was full so paying guests could not get food"

"Wonderful overnight stay with our springer spaniel . Lovely clean and spacious dog friendly room in the Annex with a fabulous view . Set in wonderful grounds with lovely outdoor areas and enjoyed a great circular walk down to the river. All staff were so friendly and the steak for the evening meal was cooked perfectly as was the very generous breakfast . Definitely be back"

"Great location, centrally located in the centre of Holmfirth. Lovely clean room, comfortable bed and a great Full English breakfast. I can highly recommend staying here, would happily stay again. Stones throw from great pubs and The Picturedrome."

"Lovely hotel and very handy for tge station. Rooms on the small side but ok for a short stay. My only complaint is the use of paper cups in the rooms. We coukdnt pick up tge vips as they were too hot and then one of them started leaking. A couple of china mugs and some glasses for water please."

"The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Room cleaning is available upon request otherwise they will change bedding after 3 nights."

"The Skipton needs updating. The shower curtain rail was held together with duct tape and falling off the wall. The bath traps would not turn off without serious effort. "

"Clean room liked the idea of two duvets on the bed, all the staff we came in contact with were extremely polite. Good breakfast plenty of choices, I requested veggie/vegan sausage and it was we're freshly cooked for me. Unlimited teas and coffee available during the stay. Would definitely stay again. "
