"The pool area was the least kept up but the staff seemed to be doing their best on a busy holiday weekend. The pull out sofa in our room really needed a new mattress and was extremely uncomfortable. We enjoyed the room amenities with the kitchenette and the washer and dryer. Elevators were full and a bit slow but expected over the 4th of July weekend."

"Property was clean and the amenities were great for the price. Only complaint was that dogs are allowed to stay in all rooms and the carpet smelled of pet urine in some areas. Maybe a better way to assign pet rooms would be ideal for people with allergies or just don’t want to stay in a room behind an animal."

"Very old and cheap-looking building. The staff use the same elevator as guests, so during checkout time I had to wait 15-20 minutes for an elevator with enough space for me and my luggage. The elevator area is completely open, so it was very hot. The AC in the room was too loud, which woke up my 2-year-old baby twice during the night. The balcony is dangerous for small children — the gaps in the railing are too wide, and a baby can easily fall through. The bathroom is very old, small, but clean....

"Room and property are very clean - almost brand new. Easy access to the beach and the pool was lovely. Room was well equipped, note you won't get housekeeping unless you have a long stay. Wish I'd realized this wasn't a traditional hotel - you'll be bothered at least twice to try and get you to go to the "vacation club" presentation. It's a timeshare by another name and they will hard sell you - up to you if a resort credit is worth half of day of your vacation. Staff were otherwise very nice,...

"For a budget hotel right on the beach, Tropical Sea hotel was a good stay for 2 nights. The room itself was tidy. Beds were a little firm but slept well enough and had clean sheets with no signs of bugs. It has two pools and a hot tub, all of which were functional and clean during our stay. And it was quiet, the sound proofing in our room, a partial view, was quite good. If I had to leave a criticism, it would be that the elevator can be very slow at times, but it always came around eventually....

"Our room was really nice and had a wonderful view. The pool was a little dirty the entire trip despite there being a pool cleaner person. People would come up off the beach and swim in the pool that weren’t guests at Indigo so that was a little annoying. There’s also nowhere to hang your towels in the bathroom."
