"First time in Amsterdam so we wanted a place with canal views and centrally located - the Hoxton was perfect. A welcome note was waiting for us. That was such a sweet & nice touch. "We stayed in a canal boat on our prior trip to Amsterdam and decided to continue to pick unusual accommodations. This bridge hut is definitely unique. We had a fun stay but 2 nights was about our limit. There is very very little space and the "wet" bathroom takes some getting used to. The location is a very long walk (25+ minutes) from the heart of town but there are buses and trams nearby that help shorten the trip. "Great location to some nearby tourist attraction. Staff were friendly and helpful, and it was easy to arrange transportation to Schiphol. Room was spacious and well-appointed, but we were a little disappointed that the hotel is unstaffed after 5 or 6pm and to get help, we will have to go to the nearby sister hotel. Overall it was still a great experience for our family of four. "
