"Home is great. A bit of a challenge to reach due to part of the Blue Ridge Parkway being closed due to Helene. Went with the notion of being a wedding anniversary and near a dark sky site. Excellent in terms of privacy and relative darkness. Spouse is 5'2" and had a lot of trouble entering and exiting the hot tub. The mini split ACs are very effective, although it was challenging to understand they all have to be set to AC or heat to work. I'm technically inclined, so this did not pose an issue...

"Life as it is meant to be. We were here for an overnight stay and my kids (boys 5 & 7) LOVED being outside, jumping over the creek, petting the dogs, feeding the goats, and looking at the beautiful Highland cattle - then spending the evening chasing fireflies. This is a very special place if you're looking to just get away. We plan to come back for a longer stay. "
