"The hotel could benefit from some modernisation, as parts of it are looking a little dated. My main concern was the location of Room 227. It was a very long walk from reception and quite difficult to reach. Fortunately, I wasn’t travelling with a suitcase; otherwise, getting to the room would have been much more difficult. Better signage or assistance with luggage would have been appreciated."

"The bed was clean but extremely uncomfortable, the bathroom was not very clean the curtains had mould. The location is good, it’s very close to the beach, and good restaurants."

"Stayed in premium sea view room was big and spacious, great views, would of liked a fridge just had a cooler, water available but on a hot day would be best if it was cold, robes and slippers available as well as hair dryer and iron and board, they have their own shampoo and conditioners and body wash, only thing would be the sink in bathroom doesn’t seem to drain well it’s slow and it doesn’t get rid of debris"

"Fantastic quirky boutique hotel! We had a great stay in the Salon Rouge room for our 25th anniversary. The room was huge with amazing views and being able to have breakfast in bed was a real treat. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and the bar is a great space. Fantastic decor throughout too!"

"The staff were brilliant and extra helpful. My room had a solid full length concrete (possibly load -bearing) pillar right in the middle of the room between the bed and the table. Very very strange. The bed was less than comfortable as if coils were sticking into my back. If my stay had been longer than one night; I would have changed the room. "I've been going to Brighton for over 30 years and stayed at many places (the Grand, Metropole (now the Doubletree), Old Ship, many a B & B, the old Thistle, etc.; but I think that this humble little Holiday Inn Seafront is my favorite. Very reasonable price for a seaview room, and you can also get breakfast and dinner included and the food is great.
