"When we arrived, the room had not been properly cleaned. We spoke with the housekeeping staff, who cleaned the room very quickly, but unfortunately it was still not properly clean afterward. I raised the issue with the housekeeper, and she seemed unhappy about the complaint and began speaking in Spanish, apparently assuming that I would not understand. Proper bathroom cleaning is essential. The toilet was dirty, which is unacceptable and reflects a lack of attention to hygiene standards....

"I just returned from my first stay at the Stamford and can only say great things about the staff, particularly the front desk people. Daniel (front desk manager) and Maria were unfailingly helpful no matter how trivial the question, and that set the tone for my five-day visit. "Rooms have truly terrible noise problems. Impossible to sleep. Had to change in the middle of the night first night. Second night wasn’t much better. Some amenities are ok but nothing special and the so called pool is kind of a joke. Restaurant is great but that’s sadly where the fun stops. We’d eat there any day but would never stay again."
