"I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC. The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there...

There is also complimentary hand soap and lotion. Complimentary coffee and breakfast. Walkable to all if downtown Boone and App State campus. Overall it is excellent! "

"We're used to going to the front desk and checking in. None of that, which was a little weird, but everything went smooth. Had no problems. Rooms and the rest of the facility was super clean! anytime we had a question we texted our host/hostess and were able to get an answer in a relatively short time. I would definitely stay there again, and will."
