There were mattresses stacked on a trailer and a few people milling around in the parking lot that gave it the appearance of an abandoned property. I am in the process of requesting a refund because I did not feel safe staying there and chose to go somewhere more appealing and safe looking."

It was over 200 a night for our smaller room but that’s to be expected during a holiday. If you only need to spend a night this room would be fine for your needs. "Blowing Rock is a beautiful little town. Unfortunately, big conglomerates are buying up the small hotel properties, and the personal service that was once the rule is now lacking entirely.
