"Great atmosphere. Food options not so great."

"The hotel was fine. The reception staff were very friendly and tried to be helpful. Our room was very large room but very outdated. Cleanliness was ok… not sure how often it was vacuumed. They couldn’t service the room on one day owing to staff shortages. My biggest problem was the noise from the major road (I-95)…we were in a room on the side and it wasn’t double glazed so heard traffic all the time. Our door also didn’t close properly so it often sounded like someone was knocking on the door....

"Our second stay here in the course of a week and this time wasn’t great. The TV’s in our suite didn’t work and after mentioning this to the front desk which I had to go downstairs to speak with because our phone also didn’t work…no one ever came to fix it although I was told they would! I ended up unplugging and figuring it out for the living room tv. Bedroom tv never worked at all! Besides this tv issue, the hotel is clean, other staff were super nice and helpful! It’s equipped like a home...

"We chose to stay at the Alexander Inn because of the location. We had two rooms. The location is great. A couple of the staff were really helpful. The property is very dated. I know it's an old building, but the carpets were frayed, the room felt tiny and dark, the blinds were stained, and the stairway was grubby. Our key cards were deactivated about six times during our stay. The breakfast room and reception were a nice perk. A bit cluttered and not enough plates/silverware but the gentleman...

"This hotel was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I booked a room online, and when i called to confirm over the phone they said the booking was unsuccessful and i do not have a reservation. they are still charging me the full amount saying i chose not to show up for my reservation. Upon speaking to managers, i have gotten nowhere."

Was very loud - could hear doors slamming and elevator all night. Fire alarm went off both nights. Very loud while setting up breakfast both mornings. My “window” backed into an alley and the door to a restaurant. Very loud and smelly. Not satisfied with this stat. "
