We walked, uber'd, and rode the bus to our destinations and the bus stop across the street was convenient. Tons of shopping and coffee places. Target was a block away inside International Marketplace and ABC was across the street. Cool taco stand up the block for a quick bite. No coffee shop in hotel but there...

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Queen Kapiʻolani Hotel. The location was amazing — everything was within walking distance, including the beach, restaurants, shopping, and attractions. It made getting around Waikiki super convenient without needing to drive everywhere. The staff was also very helpful and friendly throughout the stay, which made the experience even better. "nice property,but during check-in I was given and room and then changed shortly after. The final room was near the elevator, facing the AliWai and was a specially designed room, generally smaller than the others. Have to say those higher cost rooms facing the canal are noisy."
